i saw his work in london afew years ago. i loved the sculptures he made

Whether you or I agree on his growth or failure here is irrelevent-as I point out below: Art in the modern era is suffering. Digital is systematically taking apart studio-does this work shown here have an effect-or does the lack of views suggest it doesn't!

i dont really know the point your trying to make- but stop worrying about the state of art and go make some. everyone has the ability (no matter how small, good or bad) to contribute something to the art world and even try and leave an art legacy. i feel if someone can appreciate all aspects of art including the aesthetically unappealing they have liberated them-self to the highest state of art

Do you have an opinion on the work in this video? Is it your opinion that this work can garner respect for the field of art? In my opinion this work does not achieve a tangible amount of respect to garner publicity to enrich anything. Therefore my comments below about even having a Television program, youtube channel and the hits garnered from coming back to comment we float only at 487 though an improvement-you see how disucssion increases viability! Is the work successful?

have you been to the frieze art fair(?) have you been to interviews at goldsmiths and other top university's?.. trust me you quickly learn that the art world is only for the elite scum who can blag their way into saatchi's wife's pants

I believe you are asking," Am I redefining all meaning?" It isn't like is relative to opinion or anything! (My sarcasm should be noted there) You can obviously look to the clicker count on this work to judge effect. Sometimes when you go for profound and miss by a mile you get something like this work. The fact that it is unintelligible is probably the point but when art needs something that speaks to renew interest in the artform this pursuit will not do it.

Yes an evolved ape-what's your point? My point is valid. It is sad that a youtube channel under the name of a public television show cannot generate a much needed foothold for art. Art 21 had potential when it began but now it seems it is relegated to just throwing something out there and hoping. I mean no offense to the artist in question here but isn't art the question? All of these "retorts" and thumbs down do not replace intelligent exchange. You show it-we see it-discuss it! View count 394.
