a true return to form indeed.Though every a-ha album offers something different. My favourite a-ha song still rolling thunder though. With the right marketing this album could be massive.I REALLY HOPE IT IS FOR A-HA AND ALL THE FANS EVERYWHERE.
Wow, Rolling Thunder. That's bold...I definitely find the opening incredibly captivating and moody. It is a great song from an album with a lot of soul. You are a real A-ha fan that's foo sho.
Glad your a fan of a A-ha song that has really stood the test of time. Yeah been with A-ha from the very beginning. They are a truly underrated band indeed.

This song should have been left out of the album - Erasure shit. What is with the corny drums???? Mags original track "Otto's Theme" was far better and had more atmosphere than this one. Disappointing. Morten sings well though.
really? I don't think there's any filler on the album. Much more solid than any since the early years. The "corny" is just the synth...and it's "what it is" I guess. Certainly they're capable of a more real, raw sound, but that's not what they were going for here. Listen again.
I will in the days to come:-) I just don't have the heart for a-ha like that. But then again, Locust is my all time favorite track (along with Over The Treetops), so I guess you know which a-ha fan camp I am in;-)...Memorial Beach and East Of The Sun West Of The Moon...
They could have been the greatest indie rock band in the world...sigh.
I have all of their albums of course. The point is that a-ha was going in that direction. Think if the three first albums; Mary Is Coming, Lackluster Me and Mountains Of Time had been a-ha albums. That would have been more than awsome. No corny production like MEMS album. I wish that The King (Paul Waaktaar-Savoy) would produce all a-ha's albums, but unfortunately the band can't agree on those things, so we end up in compromise each time.
Having said all that: I love a-ha, and the new album is great - except for this song - just my opinion...like it or not. I see I got 7 thumbs down for making a small critical remark about our precious boys;-)
You have the right to not like a song, there's no problem with it, the taste is different.
I think every song on the album is decent, it contains no fillers and there are some highlights of the album like Shadowside, Mother Nature Goes to Heaven, Sunny Mistery or Bandstand.
The style of this song reminds me of old Alphaville, very 80s, but still good.
fantastic song!!
