So far your only exposure to the character is the new movie and Animated, the two worst TF incarnations yet developed which did NO justice whatsoever to Bumblebee or any of the other characters.

Actually, the new stuff isnt the ONLY thing I've seen of the TF! I'm watching the old series now and I'm on episode 38 right now. I'm working my way toward the movie but I dont know how many episodes are between that and #38. In other words, I can say, very safely, BB ROCKS! There was this internet rumor many years ago that goes that Metron was a female Tranformer that was destory in a battle with Desconds and she was rebulit by them into a male Transformer called Megtron and he then force his way up the leadership of the Desconds and became leader himself and StarScream was his gay lover which would explaned why they act like a married gay couple in the classic series.
