I LOVE HOW SHE HAD THAT CAPABILITY TO BELT IT OUT ON CUE IT WAS AMAZING TO SEE HER PERFORM THIS SONG I HAD A REAL GOOD LIKING FOR THE BRUNNETE ON THE LEFT LOL !!! I WONDER IF THE CAN SING LIKE THAT TODAY ???
Love this track (& If wishes came true). They were plugged in the UK by "Atlantic 252" back in the early 90's. I guess without them we would not have had access to gems like this!
Im 35 and used to listen to this song all the tim and after reading what you and the other person wrote, i never knew what this song meant!!! Wow thats kewl. Its so true though
Thank you, Yubaho, for jogging my memory. I feel great pleasure just as I did when I first heard this energetic cover all those years ago. And Sweet Sensation are STILL SLAMMIN'!
Ahhh man this brings back some good ole memories of early 90's freestyle. I was 17 when this song was out, the radio staion used to play it like every hour. I used to totally dress just like them, it's been a while since we had jeans that came all the way up to the belly button :) haha
I understand your point of bringing it into the 90's but the whole meaning of the song is lost by the dancing ( 3 girls showing they have boobs and can where tight leggings ). The song is about being born out of wedlock and society's judgemental standards. None of this is in the video but in the Supremes verizon it is.
I agree with you too....About the fact that they aren't representing the song very well. And you really wouldn't wanna be dancing to something talking about struggling and stuff. XD...I get your point
this is real music. when did this kind of music stop being popular? the shit that's on today makes me sick. is stupid and it does not really have any taste if you know what i mean.
wowww.. i was jus 17 how i miss those days.. i had so much fun

I wish people would stop using highly disrespectful terms like 'bastard' and 'illegitemate' and call us what we really are: love children!!!!

The original is good but this Freestyle remake is indeed better.
Since I grew up in the 80s & 90s it was actually the first version I heard LOL.
