Hey, I got a ball python about 7 days ago and she was fed the day I got her, I tried feeding her small mice but she wont eat them? Is this normal? she's about 3 months old by the way.

dude you see the rat scratching that snake. When you feed it, this is just a suggeston, if it scratches it try and move the claws away from the snakes body also if the snake takes the rat by the feet make sure the rat doesent bite the snake then there wouldnt be any changes to the snake's skin when it gains its entire colour :)

@MrRavekid no thats actualy good because if your guna feed live you need the snake to know that there is some danger in feeding. they get used to food coming every week and get lazy somtimes. thts when they get bit. so a little scratching wont hurt. they are very tough. lol

you can feed her once a week if you like but just feed her a nice size mouse, or you can feed her 2 smaller size mice to keep her happy
