A woman from Yi-lan told Milo the other day that the way to say it in Yi-lan is "Jin------------ lo lat" for emphasis. - and Dr Chen in Califorinia writes in to say YES THAT IS TRUE

美國人丹布隆愛上台灣，自稱「新台灣人」，他聽到有人說「LO-­LAT」，好奇詢問得知是台語「謝謝」的意思，但他詢問年輕一輩­的台灣人，幾乎都不知道，他很感慨，用童謠改編成「The LO-LAT Song」上傳網路，希望搶救這個台語老詞彙。丹布隆還展開「萬­人說LO-LAT」行動，希望讓更多年輕人認識LOLAT這個台­語老詞彙，已獲近百人響應。(2011.04.30)
