I'm reading Fingersmith for the second time. It is an amazing, beautifully written story. Sarah's writing is ethereal and poetic.
It's so deep and multi-faceted. I cried, I laughed. She takes you through every possible emotion many times over in that book alone. Each time I read the love scenes, I feel a new untapped feeling I had no idea I could feel. I have to get her other books.
Sarah Waters is not only a great author, she's also makes a very friendly, sweet and pleasant impression in real life. I was so lucky to meet her at the gay and lesbian filmfestival in Copenhagen. I immediately fel in love with her!
Love the way nothing is what it seems with miss Waters, there's always these mistery characters that your mind tries to unravel while yo keep reading and reading till your eyes get dry.

Sarah Waters, I love your novel Fingersmith, I can not forget it, even the actresses who played Maud and Sue, they're so amazing, Fingersmith is indeed amazing. I wish you would come up with another novel where Sally Hawkins and Elaine Cassidy would again play the roles. They both have such a good chemistry together in Fingersmith. I believe, this is the best love story i've ever seen in years. How I wish I could have a book, i'm dying to read it.

@ladybeccy101 good old bbc have adapted it they played it at the bfi recently though i couldnt go should be on tv soon, and then be released on dvd.

The next novel will be called 'The Little Stranger' and will be released spring 2009.
