My mother is illegal and she works about 45-50 hours a week. her pay check is about 450 at the end of the week and about 330 after taxes. I am a citizen I work part-time about 16 hours and I make just as much as she does, i can retire at about 75 and receive all my benefits[hopefully]... she can never retire and will never receive dental or health care and in her wildest dream she will get her retirement money :l

There are three ways illegal immigrants earn money in the U.S. The most common is cash only that they don't report or pay taxes on income. Day labors are a good example of this. The second way, which I think is worse than the first one, is they get a legitimate job that pays taxes by using a stolen/fraudulent identity. The last way they make money is through crime, such as drugs. They know our laws and choose to break them, why should we accomodate them after disrespecting our laws.

yes rick 7bil is a drop in the bucket when you compair the 60bil in social services they recieve and all the hospitals closing as a result of illegals use and no pay and not to say nothing of illegals sending money south and it is now 1/3 of mexicos economy--do you think the pres of mexico will ever do anything about illegals here as long as their being here makes 1/3 of their countrys economy--fat chance- i build homes and i know first hand on how many jobs are taken by illegals

..Rick has a point, but he's leading the conversation in a very rude way. And his thoughts are not all correct. He's not mentioning the big boom of money that left the U.S. and goes South of our border that cannot be reclaimed which drives up inflation nor the conditions that illegals have to face in order to hold jobs (usually 12 hour work days; Also seen them work 15 hours a day for five days a week, outside in the heat).
Love how it cut right after Rick was through bullying the candidate.
