  • 240p, we meet again.

  • i like the watch but i wish that was no date...

  • time is money so i went and bought a rolex

  • whats the most affordable rolex? lol

  • @ivegotabfmv

Right now the cheapest new Rolex you can find is roughly $4800 (mens) and they go up from there to over $100,000

  • @Bones12x2 wow! well maybe if i get that promotion....haha thank u for ur answer

  • Yes , but will it blend ?

  • repolica

  • RE: Rolex and keeping their value - I've been lucky to own 4 Rolex watches over the last 20 years - stil got 'em. If you buy them at the right price (especially steel) you can't go wrong. I've always bought second hand, mint conditioned watches, and they've always gone up in value. I think if you bought a gold one with diamonds in it - you will loose money unless you bought it second. third hand.

  • "Time piece"? It's a bloody watch! Call it a watch!

  • @ptpt1

Actually there is a literal difference.

Timepieces like a Rolex are 100% handmade and 100% proprietary. On the other hand a nice watch brand like Tag Heuer, Longines, Baume and Mercier etc. sometimes use parts or movements from outside manufacturers and are not always completely hand made.

It's like the difference between a Ferrari and a Corvette ZR1

  • @ptpt1 You're a dick head. Why don't you fuck off.

  • Call it greed, avarice, or decadence, but one day, after I've worked long and hard, I will purchase a Rolex and an Aston Martin. Then I'll go back to work and be able to see and feel where some of that hard work has gone both on the job and driving home.

Then some day I will retire and start teaching.

Hell, I think we need these silly goals to get through life. Until then, head down and soldier on.

  • @Kickimanjaro Yes!!!! I own some expensive(ish) swiss watches, but not yet a rolex, or an aston martin......Your post speaks to me, you are like a brother from another mother.... how does a V12 Vantage and a Platinum smooth bezelled Day date sound....!!

My life is pretty much dedicated to the goal of owning that car, with that watch on my wrist.

  • Im 15 and i dont know anything about watches. I would like to get one for Christmas though. I hear Rolex is a very good watch brand. How much is this one? Money isnt a problem btw and would you guys recoumend this one? Please reply

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw I suggest you start with a casio and work your way up. Learn to appreciate fine timepieces.

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw Several thousand dollars. You would have no use for it.

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw Yea gmt master 2 is probably one of the best watches ever made...10 grand tho bro...

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw this is not a watch you get when you are 15. even if money is not a problem, it is not a younger persons watch. retail, its about 7500. i doubt you'd wear that to school.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw it 30 000 $ money is a problem...

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw rolexs can start at around 4000 and get up to 40,000+. your never too young for a rolex. I got my first rolex at 13 - Platinum and steel yacht master. My favorite rolexs are the yacht master 2's. They come in yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold. 40k for the white and yellow gold, 25k for the rose gold.

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw About... 8,000 to 10,000 dollars depending on the level of trim

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw

Tissot: Provides a large variety of different styles that almost guarantees one 'customized' suitable for you. Preferable by the youth or sporty men.

Rolex: Relaxed, simple, well built watches for older people.

Cartier: Sophisticated, beautiful craftsmanship watches brings fantasy onto your wrist.

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw

alot maybe not this one tho one many millions even

  • @Tht1kidYouKnw ,8t this watches are over 5k dollars if u want fashion u better stick to g-shocks

  • The reason that people pay so much for this watch is because it is an investment. It goes up in value every year faster than bank rates. In the UK, watches are exempt from inheritence tax (death duties) therefore, if you want to leave hundreds of thousands to your kids and not let the exchequer get their hands on it, you buy them gold Rolexes to put away in a vault to cash in later.

  • When i think of sapphire, i think of the gem, What exactly is a "sapphire crystal"? Is that just a name or is the cover actually made out of some gem

  • @skaterock7734 Sapphire crystal for watches is synthetic crystal that has the same hardness as sapphire.

  • don't know what the hype is about these watches, only RUSSIAN DIVERS and Invicta are the one that get all the attention.

  • i wont pay more than 500 indian rupees(10 $) for this shit..

  • Chuck Norris doesn't need a Rolex. HE decides what time it is.

  • Can someone please explain to me why people pay so much money for a fucking watch? It's like fucking tiny and I could buy a phone that does 100 times as many things for like a hundredth of the price! Like the Zenith watches which run for 80,000 bucks? When is see that I say WHAT THE FUCK? And I see you guys comment "Dear Santa.." WHY THE FUCK DO YOU WANT THAT? Just seems retarded to me.

  • @TheTechJoint cause your a little bitch and like to where like shit circles on your wrist

  • Comment removed

  • @TheTechJoint "Can someone please explain to me why people pay so much money for a fucking watch?" Because we can.

  • @TheTechJoint Because in life, there are winners and loosers. Take a guess at what impression this watch gives?

  • Best thing about having a gmtii prior to the new gmtiic is that you can almost always buy and sell for around the same price. If your smart and use your resources to get this watch cheap you can usually find a nice one for 4800$ solid end links no pinholes

  • I remember watching this video 2 years ago before i came a WIS lol

  • Dear Santa...

  • 600 rs my fast track also showing the same time which 3lakh 50 tsnd rolex showing

  • @survivorsidharrth What the hell are you trying to say? I can't understand your message at all.

  • @Paulsfullofshit. ..what cost the watch maybe all showing the same time thats a thing i try to tell.there is no jargons in my text ..if u finds diffult to understand it surprising me

  • I could do everything for such a nice watch :(

  • Hmmmm at 5.45 when he is adjusting the hour hand , the 24 hour and seconds hands move on the shaft .

    Rolex ?

  • @Dangersheep2 This is normal behaviour for a 3185 movement. Late models have a 3186 and the hands do not wiggle.

  • @Dangersheep2 I thought the same thing myself... I have some FAR less expensive watches (Some Swiss Made, some Swiss Movement and Some Japanese movement) that use automatic movements and the hands have a LOT less of that "play" or wiggle when adjusting setting... For that kind of money I want SOLID all around. Or I could just buy 32 watches instead for not much more than that price. Oh wait... I did.

  • @aj727b faggot

  • Time is Time, so I went and bought a Timex and Time magazine at Time's square.

  • Comment removed

  • I thought the "24" hand should be set to "GMT" time...not local time.

  • @jinder72 When home, it makes sense to set it to your home time zone. When traveling you can set the main watch hours to your new local time but then the 24 hour hand shows your home time at a glance.

  • @jinder72 That is really just a matter of preference for the wearer... most people find local or home time more useful than GMT for the "24" hand on a day to day basis, but GMT sounds better for a name of the movement type...

  • i think imma get this watch tatoo on my leg so it can remind me if i work hard in life, one day i can own a master piece like this. ( im only 18)

  • @StayAsian Best of luck! I'm happy with my Japanese watches myself. If you are prepared to go to college, get a good degree, and work your arse off, eventually one of these trophies WILL be yours.

  • @RebelKnightCSA Well put.

  • Time is Life, so I went and purchased a Breitling.

  • time is money so i went and bought a Rolex.

  • Why must Rolex's be so unobtainable?

  • a noob question do people really prefer that watch have a cyclopes? and whats a bidirectional rotating vessel?

  • @shin1300 Cyclopses are a love it or hate it.. It's a relatively cheap repair though if you wish to remove it. It's only glued onto the crystal and can be taken off with a chiesel. The crystal is sapphire and ordinary chiesels won't even mark it. Maybe best to use a wood chiesel though :D Bi-directional bezel means the black numbered ring around the face can be rotated both left and right. Whereas divers watches only turn anti-clockwise (uni-drectional bezel). So they don't overdo it underwater.

  • @ColonelAllan owh i see so you use ti directional bezel for somekind of a timer?

  • @shin1300 In diving yes. Notice it only turns anti-clockwise on diving watches such as the Submariner or Seadweller so if you were to knock it and move the bezel underwater you would come up too early but not too late! On a GMT Master it is an adjustable secondary timezone display, and can be turned both ways.

  • @ColonelAllan owh i see i see now i understand what are those things are for, thanks man your really informative im going to start collecting watches :D

  • @shin1300 No problem. I imagine a few people viewing this would like an explanation of the functions. There are some beautiful watches out there, it's gonna be an expensive hobby! :D

  • @ColonelAllan i don't really know what to get for my 1st rolex watch, can you recommend me a good one? somewhere that's not expensive but durable and accurate :)

  • @shin1300 Hard to find one below $2000...Rolex Airking and then vintage Oyster Precision pieces but they're all pretty plain looking. I'd buy an Omega before I drop that kind of money on a plain old banger of a thing. On the plus side, whatever Rolex you buy, go pre-owned, then if you choose to sell it you will not lose. May even be able to stick a couple of hundred extra on, in a few years time. They're all durable. Accuracy leaves something to be desired compared with say Breitlings.

  • @ColonelAllan well then i better start saving :D thanks man

  • I thought the whole point of the GMT was to be able to show two different timezones - I was surprised you didn't demonstrate it like that. You made it look like both hour hands are supposed to point to the same time...

  • @maverick205205 It can show two timezones this way. If for example you go abroad somewhere you don't need to alter the time and can simply adjust the 24hour bezel to the local time. That way the time back home is shown but the bezel and the gmt hand point to the local time. If you want to have THREE different timezones then yes the gmt hand can be moved to accomodate, plus the bezel and the standard hands. That's hardcore travelling! Most people only need to move the bezel. :D!!

  • @ColonelAllan Thanks but that doesn't seem to be much of an advantage over a regular 12 hour bezel...

  • @maverick205205 Well, it was designed as an aviator watch: The newly introduced fourth hand allowing the display of an additional time, with the corresponding numbermarkings on the outer bezel. As in the 1940s and 50s flying distances got longer and the pilots travelled through multiple time zones, Pan Am asked Rolex in the 1950s to develop a watch which could tell different times simultaneously. They obviously saw the advantage over a practically useless 12 hour bezel.

  • HOME

  • I sell them online. I can sell it for as low as 6000 bucks. This exact watch with an appraisal and everything (It's appraised at $8205). It retails for $7500 and thats what the jeweler I bought them from usually sold them for, but when he went out of business I bought a bunch of rolexes off him. It's a great watch pm if interested.

  • @watchdealer1 Are those brand new in the box?

  • @ColonelAllan Both brand new and pre-owned. All genuine, I keep costs low so I can sell low ( I only have 3 employees). I have about a 5% mark up per watch. If you're interested in anything specific pm me.

  • @ColonelAllan Brand new they're 8500 for Mens Rolex GMT Master II w/ Black Ceramic Bezel. I'm willing to haggle on price. I almost always finalize at 5% above cost.

  • @watchdealer1 No I meant the old shape still new and in the box. I think 6000 is a little high for US prices for a pre-owned non ceramic. Not unreasonable by any means though if the condition is fairly mint.

  • @watchdealer1 Ah that's cool, sorry I didn't read your reply properly. Nah no ceramic for me. I've already got me one of these beauties shown in the video. I'm still not sold on the new case shape... They look a bit unfinished to me. A bit "Friday afternoon job" where the people working the Rolex machine couldn't be bothered to finish the case off. LOL!

  • @ColonelAllan Lol no problem.

  • @watchdealer1

    Dont listen to this guy.

Never buy a Rolex from a non-authorized dealer. There is no such thing as an authorized online Rolex.

  • Getting the semi-gold GMT II next week. Costing me about USD10.8k. Have had 2 rollers (a day date all gold, which I've sold off and a quartz steel, which I still use). Considered the sub, but decided this looks better.

  • probably fake...

    1. cyclops magnification is wrong (it would be much more powerful on a real rolex)

    2. not 904l steel (probably 316l)... 904l steel would be much more shinier and more polished

  • @APimpinFreestyle You probably don't own one to make any kind of comparison...

  • Rolex GMT 's are the best watches in the world. Because I said so.

  • every one who like rolex have to see this:

ADRIANO LOPES PATA (the one with the guitar)

thx , you will really laugh...

  • Call me nutty, but I like how the Mercedes hour hand forms a peace symbol when the second hand passes over it. Peace...but not for long. See 0:20 for what I mean.

  • I love this watch! It has three time zones.

  • Thank you

  • Just the right video for me :))

  • FUCK YOU......ASS HOLE YOUR ROLEX IS FUCKING FAKE

  • @k608ii806k

    lol, troll.

  • @k608ii806k how you know that?

  • SWAG ME THE FUCK OUT

  • That watch is boring like other all the same nothing fresh and new.

  • Well I feel in love with the daytona model :)

  • ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING THE SAME THING FOR UNDER $100, IF U DO JUST LET ME KNOW

  • it's a fake!!

  • note : eastern time {new york} and west coast time {california}

  • nice video but he did not set the GMT properly ,,,,,,,,,,, gmt standard set up is the london gmt time which is minus 10 eastern time and minus 8 west coast time ,,,,,,,,,,, i have this watch in two tone 18k gold bracelet

  • You know when you just fucking want something?

  • @IdontneedanIpod you mean like this?

  • @PCRedman Yeshh!

  • Spoilt bastards. Earn your own Rolex :D!!!

  • my cell phone was free. i got it for free... tells me satilite time and i can also make calls with it... and i can dowload a background that makes the screen look like rolex face. good investment on my part. thanks guys.

  • Nice.

  • i love the rolex gmt that i have. it has blue & white diamond crystals on bezel. no other brand that i have got comes close to the look & feel of gmt. i just wish i got the all gold instead of the steel one.

  • generally a good review. but you did not say anything about the red hour hand. how does that work?

  • hehe my dad got me one for xmas its two tone gold and stainless steel and black bazel :D im13 woop :-]

  • thymen 121 don't be hating just because your poor and cant afford it !!!

  • Holy shit!! you spend thousand of dollar just for this stupid watch... hahaha

  • This is not an easy or convenient reset.

  • @UserNamei5 Yeah, an art of ripping you off.

  • Definitely fake.

  • Wow, took pretty long for this guy to pop out to first position. (Fake maybe?)

  • I got fooled man. It doesn't seem real at all. Never trust anyone on ebay even if they have great star rating.

  • what happens if you overwind it?

  • @PCRedman the seconds hand will move faster than usual lol

  • scylllla so beningg jealous poor ass !!!

  • Rolex watches are overrated.

  • This watch is crap. Watch the video I posted of my new watch. The one in YOUR video is a fake China watch. You can tell because it does not have the "Rolex Rolex Rolex" around the inside. ALL GMT-MASTER II's have this, no matter what "edition"

  • @DangerD205 you, are an idiot. The rolex rolex rolex is only on the newer models with the ceramic bezel started around 2005.

  • @bofeds He posted the video in 2007...I am assuming it was post 2005...Sorry

  • @bofeds He posted the video in 2007...I am assuming it was post 2005...Sorry Also, it does not have the 3 dots under the Rolex crown...It has 2 lines...So maybe it was before 2005. SORRY. You don't have to call me an idiot. Just say "you're wrong"

  • jerking on a chinese rolex . you suck

  • jerking on a rolex . you suck

  • nice watch, i prefer the original pepsi bezel with lug holes and tritium. i live in an odd time zone - +9.5 hrs GMT so I turn the bezel to correspond to the GMT, can't use it the conventional way.

  • great watch

  • shit this looks GOOD.

  • Love the GMT-master II. can't decide on which rolex to get though.

  • Rolex GMT Master 2 is my most favorite watch. Few years ago, I bought a used one from ebay with blue sapphire bezel. These days it stops every now & then when second hand moves between 45 & 50 second. How do I fix it? Needs oiling?

  • @samann95014 is it real?

  • My favorite watch!!!!! I love it

  • why does it come to a rolex watch every thinks it's fake?

  • @mercilessMarksmen because there are poor people on youtube who like to say that things they cant afford, in this case a rolex, are fake

  • its not real

  • @04mucklowd prove it

  • FAKE jajajajajaj

  • @Gatinhitoluz prove it

  • I don't really like the extra hand. It's distracting to the eye. Original is better.

  • its fake....no rolex wording surrounded at the inner side.

  • @cal8019 your face is fake

  • @cal8019 are you joking..the rolex gmt master II the first one without ceramic bezel and polished center links doesnt have rolex wording inside..i sell rolexes at an official dealer outside venice so i know what im talking about..

  • @Leomagnifichi what does it take to sell rolexes in venice?

  • @damthatriver09 what do you mean?

  • @damthatriver09 I want to sell watches too. I want to be one of the best watch salesman in the world. How can i be like you? thats what i mean

  • @damthatriver09 oh lol..you should ask because i continued the watch and jewellry shop activity of my grand grandparents :)

  • I love my G-Shocks!!!

I plan on a GMT though in the near future.

  • @ken8masters g shocks are garbage

  • @JIMSTAYZCHILLEN are you kidding me? How are G shocks garbage? I consider this fucking Rolex garbage considering how much it costs! Its just a fucking money statement nothing more, do you think seals go to war with a rolex on their wrist guess again!!

  • @ridah925 luxury time pieces> toy like watch, bitch

  • @JIMSTAYZCHILLEN HAHA okay well I guess my toy like watch thats made it through several deployments taken more abuse than I can remember and still tells perect time plus can do 10x what a rolex can do is garbage lol and all for $150 wow I sure wish that I would have spent over thousands of dollars for a device that does nothing more then tell time and doesn't even do that very well to boot!!

  • @ridah925 Rolex wasn't made for war.. w/e bro, think what you want, its a matter of taste anyway.. i'd rather own a rolex than a cheap ass g shock anyday.. and by the way I actualy own a g shock

  • @JIMSTAYZCHILLEN I don't understand how you can justify spending that much money on a fucking watch your just paying for the name, and your certainly not getting more capability! Just because the G-shocks don't cost thousands of dollars does not make them garbage ok!!! At the end of the day your watch is for rich snob's who have nothing better to spen their money on!!

  • @ridah925 I get the "My Casio will do just the same..for $20." - Yeah but your casio is a piece of shit. The people who say these things often own a lot of justifiably shitty things.

I own this exact watch by the way :D ^

  • @JIMSTAYZCHILLEN Actually, Rolex has indeed gone to war - they were used extensively during WWII, and a few ARVN officers had them in the Viet Nam Conflict.

  • your just paying for the name tbh

  • Terrible review, you talk way too much about irrelevant things before going on to discuss anything of substance.

Work on the efficiency of your presentations.

  • Nice video....but you didnt explain how to track multiple time zones, even though you stated that some people dont know how to use the watch.

  • whats a g-shock to a rolex

  • I don't like it as much as in the video.Nothing special about it.I think you can buy from other brands much beautiful watches at a decent price.

  • finceo you just jealouse because can buy one because if was real or fake you can buy anyway bitch !!!

  • For how much these watches cost, they should be made out of PLATINUM.lol

  • If you guys are in a situation where you have to question how much a Rolex cost then they are not for you. Rolexes are fairly accurate as far as mechanical movements are concerned but even a cheap 10 dollar digital watch will tell superior time to any mechanical watch. When you buy a Rolex your buying a brand and an image. I own 3 Rolexes and wear a cheap citizen more than my Rolexes.

  • Rolexes are not handmade. With the amount of detail that goes into the movements the only handmade watches are Patek Phillippe level watches (15-30k). Rolexes might be hand finished (someone puts the movement into the case) but theres just no way they could afford to have professional watch makers handmake the movements at the prices that they charge. If you do buy into the marketing hype that Rolex puts out you might also think that it takes them a whole year to build each watch(it doesnt)
