  • my mom is thinking about getting a 2003 lincoln ls that has 83000 miles on it its 5000 dollars.is that a good deal for one of those?

And if someone else that has one let me know what are the most common problems in these cars are thanks.

  • Considering it's not at the dealership so it'd probably been driven before the video was recorded, most of the snow has melted off it and the temperature gauge is displaying it's up to temperature, I can't see what's wrong with revving it.

  • Sure wouldn't want to buy any car you guys test drove.

  • hows the sound system? better then a volvo s60/s80 one?

  • do you like this more then a 2001-2 volvo s60/s80???

  • Just got one 2 days ago and its fast

  • @dobermankingws What was the price?

  • great car, i own a 2004 3 series 320i , great handling, excellent acceleration and breaks. only flaw i would say is the speakers. pretty shitty. i blew out all speakers except for my rear left speaker. the bass is also muddy. im going to save up this summer to get a decent system with bass. any one have any ideas of what sound system to get thats not over $700?

  • this is automatic right?

  • you started it for way too long, moron

  • @anton4223 it's a perfect first car

  • would this be a good first car?

  • @Anton4223 yeah perfect is truly what it is. i own one and its so easy to drive, fun to drive, steering wheel feels awesome, seats are great, not too expensive, safe, and mine has 56000 miles and it will probabley last as long as a toyota with 20000 miles on it.

  • Getting an 03 BMW 3 series in a month...its a few years old but to me the styling is timeless. BMW's are my fav car, period. I'm stoked. I've always driven sporty Japenese cars, such as Acuras, but I was blown away during the test drive, and i knew I had to have it. I could go on and on about my love for BMW's, but there's simply not enough room in the comments for me to do so. I hope this month goes by really fast...

  • wow lol that tranny wont last long....and it sounds terrible when you start it.

  • i have this car too on my page

  • your not suppose to rev a cold engine. Thats how u fuck it up.

  • @ChicanoLX805 it probably wasn't cold, because it looks like he'd been driving it already. Although I do agree with you if it was cold.

  • running a 3.5 i got this car but in silver its pretty fast beat an 09 mustang2 weeks ago.

  • sweet...im glad you served up that american muscle garbage. i also preffer this body styly to that of the e90. in my opinion the interrior quality went down hill in 2006 to present

  • thats not how ur suppose to start it

  • Why is it America gets only the huge engine versions - never anything vaguely economical to drive? 316ti, 1.8l engine gets 53mpg, you know it makes sense. Hassle your dealers - get the good stuff imported!

  • @skiamakhos Even if we got those engines, they would never get the same mileage, BMW would have to modify them significantly to meet emissions standards in the US, that's why it took so long for us to get a BMW diesel, and even now we only have one, the 335d sedan.

  • @stwartfan123 I don't think the US emissions standards are uniform from state to state, but we have some pretty strict standards in the UK which dictate how much road tax you have to pay to use the vehicle. Generally the more economical an engine is, the better the emissions, though. The latest BMW engines switch off completely if idling in traffic, in neutral on a stick-shift. Mine's a 2-litre 318 petrol engine that doesn't have that but I get 53mpg on motorways using cruise control.

  • @skiamakhos they arent uniform but I live in California where the emissions standards are the most strict and BMW diesels werent introduced until recently because of strict standards. Even then, it only gets 33mpg. Out of curiosity, what does the UKspec 335d get? Also, in the US, BMW isnt an economy car company, but a luxury and sports car company, which is why we get the bigger engines, the absence of cloth seating, and more features standard...If you want economy, you dont buy BMW in the US...

  • @stwartfan123 They're regarded as a luxury / sports manufacturer here too, BUT what you regard as economical vs powerful is a different range to what we would regard as the same. Most Europeans regard American cars as ridiculously overpowered & under-economical, because for most of the last 100 years you guys have had the cheapest oil outside of Saudi Arabia & you're used to using it up like water. We've long had to make do with smaller engines.

  • @skiamakhos well, it's not our fault, haha. It's not like every car we have over here is a gas hogging powerhouse, the Honda accord is one of the most popular vehicles over here at this time, it is different from your Accord though. Also, Chevrolet makes some underpowered cars, like the Cobalt, which gets better mileage than our current Civic, at 36mpg. Also, because oil is so cheap here, theres not a huge necessity for underpowered vehicles. Also, don't blame it on me, I don't even drive yet.=P

  • @stwartfan123 I wouldn't regard a vehicle capable of 150mph when the limit is 70 as under-powered, but as you get further beyond that you see diminishing returns for greater power. My car has only slightly slower performance for a hell of a lot more economy. I'm amazed though that more Americans don't see it that wasting oil is wasting the blood of your marines, who have to go conquer resource rich lands for you to have your supplies.

  • @skiamakhos During the e36 era we had a 318i/ti/is/ic and Id like to point out that it only got 32mpg on the highway. I am an avid watcher of Top Gear UK and I saw the VW Polo BlueMotion with 70mpg. It would take some major economically-limiting modifications on that thing to get it to limit the emissions it puts out. Now don't get me wrong, I would love something like that, and so would many Americans, I'm sure, but we just don't have anything like that over here...it's not "the peoples" fault.

  • @stwartfan123 a lot of it depends on how you drive it. I remember reading an article about a guy who gets 100mpg out of a 1960's Impala, because he does things like tailgating trucks, coasting down hills, and not braking unless it's absolutely definitely going to crash if he doesn't. I don't drive like that but if you monitor the mpg on the trip comp & the vacuum gauge you can get good results from a BMW.

  • @skiamakhos Yeah, I'm hoping we get some more economical Bimmers around here, as long as we don't sacrifice power...haha I hate to be a part of the stereotype, but I'm looking for an e46 330Ci because I want the 225HP instead of the 184 in the 325, especially because the 330 gets 30 instead of 29mpg on the 325s side. I don't know what to tell you except that I love myself a car that can put me back in my seat when you step on the gas, but few of us Americans actually drivesomething that capable.

  • @skiamakhos Also, (Curse that 500 character limit...haha) not everyone over here drives a big ol' muscle car, If I were to go to the nearest highway, I would probably see more Civics, Accords, Corollas, and Camrys than anything else. Not many people around here have huge requirements for vehicles around here. I believe that if we got rid of some of the extreme emission requirements around here, that we would be better off, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

  • @skiamakhos wow...I said "also" wayyy too much...hahaha

  • nice vid. i wonder how much faster a manual is than the auto

  • even though this car is about 8 years old i love it this will be my first car... i get my car next year may... this is the one i want!!!

  • You should of got the 325 xi for all that snow, I think we have the same car, check ouy my videos

  • can u tell me everything u know of a 3 series. i might buy one and i would like to know stuff about them. the pros and cons. mpg, spendy maintenance? long lasting reliable? thank u!

  • my dad's new bmw broke down after 10,000 miles..!

  • dang thats insane!

well since i posted this comment, i think i already decided to avoid European cars all together for now. the maintenance is too high.

  • lemon or he drove it hard

  • Extremely reliable, some cooling issues, some minor electrical issues. If you can't do some repairs yourself be prepared for some heavy labor fees. The parts aren't what get ya its the dirty mechanics that will charge you 100+ a hour labor. Great fuel economy, its awesome to be seen in a BMW and it will last you forever.

  • for now i got a honda accord. a good deal on a 07 4 cylinder. it gets awesome gas mileage! but some day, ill get my beamer!

  • However. Having said all that I will tell you right now that for the money the Cadillac CTS is a much better option.

  • Nice video! check mine out if ya want. I did a little tour for it when I was trying to sell it! Turns out I love it too much to get rid of it!

  • I will go check out your videos, my videos are ok

  • when i said i want 5 cars i meant that i needto make a decision on wht car to get! toyota, honda, cadillac, bmw ( lexus maybe)

  • Oh oh oh haha my bad, yeah that's quite a decision you got there! Make sure it's the right one lol :P do ur research!

  • @thecarexpert18 cadillac

  • @thecarexpert18 don't choose any of that cars, maybe BMW, but mercedes is the bets choice, because, that's a car that is rare give you problems.. my father has E63 //AMG E55//AMG and E500 coupe for my sister they never gave problems.... :D Mercedes is the best car, in my opinion :D

  • @thecarexpert18 get a lexus they are the best specially the is300 i love it

  • i have 5 cars thet i want and 1 of them is the bmw, is it diesel?

  • Wow I wish I had 5 cars haha, nah this one is gas

  • How comfortable are the 3 series sedans ?

  • For someone who is used to plush seats, I really liked the 3 series. BMW seats are designed to be more supportive and firm than real soft, but they are very comfortable. Fun to drive car, everything just seems to be in easy reach, very smooth shifter and all. overall great car, I loved it!

  • They also soak up the bumps well, and are solid and very well composed over imperfections. The seats are firm, yes, but they are supportive, and the leather is durable.

  • just got one. It is amazing. I live in Canada with lots of frost broken roads. Still very comfortable, but handling is the best. GET THE 330i with a manual transmission.
