ok, im a fan of GT series. ive beaten 1-4 and im currently playing prologue. ive also played through forza 1 and 2. both have different things about them. but me personally who has played both sides, likes forzas physics. also, the cars are more realistic sounding. every car in every GT series ive played is like a motorcycle mixed with the cars actual sound. plus forzas damage of course. but the biggest thing of all, is motor or drivetrain swaps.
the motor swaps and the fact that my car is actually in the game is a huge plus for me. with every GT series, and its HUGE amount of cars, it never had the 99-00 civic coupe. only hatches. but they have a huge amount of everything else. i dont even like the tuning in prologue, its too....blah. prologue and GT5 have the graphics, car list, and tracks list, i give them that. but im not going to even use 1/5 of the cars, so that list dont matter to me.

In my opinion I think it's testament to Gran Turismo that Forza even exists. It's so blatantly a copy-cat game that it seems like more of a tribute than competition. This looks incredible, especially when you consider all these vids are shot with cameras pointed at HD TVs, which isn't a great indication of the games graphics because it causes obvious light/dark problems (look at the sky for example). when proper vids start to surface this will be mindboggling. I personally cannot wait.

And second, Its got no speed effects, because when youre driving in real life, You dont get motion blur and all that stuff.
Also, In real cars, going fast often feels slow, Which is why so many people accidentally get speeding tickets.

The lighting is 100% realistic . In order to see cartoonistic lighting see flopza 3. the game looks like shit and has no lighting . all it has are low poly plstic cars

yep 6 cars in some races. But worse is the fact that cars in FM3 are of extremely low poly and hence u have the plastic look. and theres just 8 max ...It is because of X360's inferior hardware . GT5 will destroy all games in sales in europe. as for forza3 it is not even a recognized franchise.

damage effects will be added to all cars over dlc packs, polyphony have to pay the manufacturers extra money to damage their cars, so the dlc will probably cost

there is damage on all 1000 cars in GT5 but 170 of them will have INTERNAL damage too. Howeve flopza 3 has just 400 cars and all of them are plastic too so damage modelling isnt even necessary
