  • Ok i recently graduated from law school and ill sum this up for you.. Anyone is allowed to record in a public area, and you do not need any consent because anyone being recorded is a public representative. If a cop says you cannot specifically record him/her, then they are wrong because you have the right to. You have this right because you pay for their salaries and they serve you, so you have the right to record them doing their job since you paid for it.

  • do u come to concord ofton?

  • "The First Circuit Court of Appeals reached a crucial decision last Friday (August 26, 2011) allowing the public to videotape police officers while they're on the clock" dailytech(DOT)com/First+Circuit+Court+of+Appeals+Rules+that+Citizens+Can+Videotape+Police/article22587.htm

  • Police work for a privite Corporation called goverment, this is who they serve & protect. they're training is much different now...they look at the public as the enemy. when the time is right they will jump us all and lock us up for the Corporation. they are here too keep the slaves in line until the time is right ! they are a Privite Army for hire to do the work for the NWO .

  • I don't get the point of this video...Please elaborate. I watched the entire video, but all I saw was the videotaping of a cop getting in his car, leaving, and you talking the entire time.

  • I am fascinated at how ignorant most cops are. Certainly no scientists on the force.

  • any cop who refuses to identify himself when asked should be immediately suspended, what the fuck is this state coming to

  • this dude, kinda looks like dwite schrute from the office

  • the thing is... if you were a cop and you were doing your job without doing anything criminal, why would you care if you are videotaped?... it looks worse on the cop when they get all mad about videotapeing

  • maybe they don't like to be taped cuz some jerkoff is going to put their face on youtube and keep them from working undercover, or have some jerk recognize them at the grocery store while they are with thier family.

  • they aren't forced to be a cop. It's now part of the job, all of them nation wide should understand this and accept this. It's also good for cops, it shows when they do things properly.

  • then they need to find a more discrete kind of occupation.

  • @Stink808 maybe what he was doing was none of your buisness and you must be a real loser

  • @knight0201 Maybe he's just a big wimpy crybaby and got his feelings hurt because he thinks he can hide in public while being employed in a very public position. Maybe you are him and are the real loser here.

  • Ask yourself this...Why do cops hate being video taped?

Now ask yourself this....Why do criminals avoid being video taped?

Now ask yourself this...Why should cops not want to be video taped?

    Gun+Badge of authority+Secrecy=tyranny and revolt.

I truly think these yank snippers are 95% well intentioned...it's the others you have to worry about.

  • Cops didn't have a problem arresting and strip searching 2 ladies wearing kerry buttons at a Bush event. Google it.

  • If your are trying to play victim, then you should be outraged where ever you see injustice. Whether you agree with the person or not.

  • They are public servants and can be taped. However do not interupt a police officer during an investigation- Then it becomes an arrestable offense.

  • Random check points just sprung up here in southern California today.

  • Next time just try to tape the car number, not the license. It's much larger and easy to see.

  • or find the manual-focus switch and get on the ring.

  • The First Amendment.

    That is all

  • via explicit language the first amendment does not apply to the states, and therefore cannot be "incorporated" against them. that 99% of americans and ~100% of robed tyrants disagree changes nothing of this truth.

  • Actually, you are wrong.

I believe it is the 14th ammendment that extends the protections afforded to our natural rights in the 1st 10 ammendments to states.

I may be wrong on the Ammendment, but I am sure of the effect.

  • donmei, next time you're going to be laughably wrong while presuming ("Actually"!) to correct, at least read the message to which you think you're replying. while reading, catch clues before they fly by your face.

  • @donmei you must of been abused in school so now you want revenge what an ass

  • @knight0201 Have*

  • No reasonable expectation of privacy. You are free to record (video and audio), no need to get consent.

The same concept that permits police to put cameras on streets and in their police cars (without our consent) is the same thing that guarantees your right to record them (without their consent).

Why do police feel they can record us yet we can't record them? How did we allow that to become commonplace?

  • @diggingforgold The answer is liberalism. Liberalism generates the exact opposite of its stated intent. Whatever they try to make people safe, they actually make people less safe.

  • Just strikes me as weird that in NH, you can't even video tape a cop? If you are in public you have no assuption of privacy!

  • You're correct. They video tape us without our permission. Traffic cameras. Dashboard cameras. Government buildings. etc.

If they can video tape us in public, we are able to return the favor.

  • really weird stuff going on in usa...

    5/5 thanks for sharing.

  • Good Job Mr. Ridley.............Good job.

  • What did the car shout at 1:58?

  • Like cockroaches when a light is turned on.

  • They never like being videotaped. I've yet to find one who would allow me to record while they detained me.
