No one else lives your life, but you and if you’re taking pictures of your life, you work costantly creating snapshots. Those are true images that no one else can see and show the way you live. Chase Jarvis
im a young fine artist and i have studied the likes of rembrant, da vinci, picaso and yet you are the guy who really inspires me to create something different and presue a career as an art director, thank you <3
i hate smug fuckers like this dude acting like taking a picture is something within a creative genius...sorry but clicking a button doesn't take nothing special
@jd666ify Why does someone else's passion for photography upset you so much? It seems like you could use some joy in your life my friend.... or a creative outlet. Grab a camera and try it out. You might just fall in love with it too:)
Nah it doesn't upset me but photography isn't a skill or a passion it's a lame excuse for un creative people to try and be creative.. Theres no skill involved & nothing creative in clicking a button on a camera & i dont care what angle/image or whatever you take it at it' just uncreative and lacks all the ingredients you need to be creative
@jd666ify You've obviously never tried to operate a camera in your life. I learned a long time ago that there's no point in trying to talk sense into a fool...So with that being said, I wish you the best:)
@arrudawakening he's just another troll with intestines for brains-the bile coming from him is reflection of how unhappy he is with his own sad situation. art is open and limitless-good positive reinforcement from Chase-thanks a heap.
@jd666ify Sadly, there's more to it than you think. You might be one of those people just push the button. You don't seem to realize that the creative aspect is framing/composition, lighting, etc. It requires some skill to actually take a good photo that stands out from the rest. Anyway, like what the others said about you, best wishes.
However framing, composition, lighting etc it nothing genius and you still have to press a button once that has been done.
You can't pretend that you don't press a button your full of shit i completely accept and appreciate anyone that does this as a hobby but trying to take it further and pretending as if it's a talent when it isn't is just silly
@jd666ify Saying that photography is just clicking a button is like saying that drawing is just running a pencil over some paper. In a way photography is about pushing a button, if you push the button at a bad time or when you are looking at something completely bland then you will get a bad picture. In any other form of art it is the same. If you run the pencil over paper in a bad way you will get a bad image, if you shape clay poorly you will get a bad sculpture etc.
@jd666ify if you say it dosnt require skill then grab a camera and lets so how good you are..It takes more then skill its an art...good luck with your future there i know mine will be great as long as i have a camera to take photos of my success and what i see as i become better i know i will do great things.
@jd666ify i do lots more then just clicking ONE button i click many buttons and switch many switches and set up the right equipment with the right studio lighting and flashes and then after that i edit my photos which takes a while to do all the photos
After struggling with being a professional photographer for 6 years, I finally took my piece of paper that I paid for years before...and got a corporate career... After watching this, for the first time in 2 years, eyes watering... I picked up my camera. You have no idea how much you inspire people Chase. The world we live in today needs you. From everything I've got in me, Thank You.
Chase, let me thank you for your continued and intentional action in encouraging and supporting the personal, real, sincere creativity of your viewers and those this perception can reach. setting aside a pride to encourage another in your field is rare, unusual, and such a great benefit and gift to those who watch and are affected by that message. Thanks, Chase! and be blessed, sir! Have a GREAT day! One who is consistently encouraged by your vision and dedication- In Christ, Jesus- Mark Simmons!
I stumbled upon this video today, and you put so eloquently what I feel in my bones about the snapshot. Carving out time for this kind of work is my dream. . . on occasion I get to. But, as a 46 year old mother of two, separating myself from the routine is close to impossible. It makes those moment that I can create my small important moments on camera that much sweeter. There is a lot of angst in not being out there all of the time. Your work is classy and clean and inspiring.
This is incredibly well shot. Each one looks like it's had as much time spent on it as you spend on each of your photographs. A great effort, thanks Chase.
I just wanted to say that you inspire me everyday to become better. im a young photographer from Ohio, with huge dreams of fulfilling a life of creativity. any time that i have doubts of pursuing my photography career i turn to your channel, website, videos, everything (im not a stalker) but seriously. thank you so much for all your work and the time you put into helping others become better.
Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Some very great words of wisdom, and a lot of encouragement. I strive to keep a clear mind so my art can thrive. Thank you for your inspiration.
