You're thinking in a simplistic dichotomy. Just because the people and resources have to merge to share and sustain the resources does not, by simple mind default, equal "the new world order" you fear. There is no leader in the systems approach the Venus project advocates. Continued

The control will become more and more centralized through power struggle, and the middle class will cease eventually.
seriously. people need to get that we ARE going to have to come together as one or die. It will either be as slaves, which is the direction we are currently headed, or as freemen, as the Venus project and groups like it propose. The time to choose is rapidly approaching.
