The canucks were never the same after the 03-04 season before the lockout. I still miss seeing Trevor Linden, Brad May, Matt Cooke, Jarko Ruutu, Dan Cloutier, Brent Sopel, Mattias Ohlund, Ed Jovanovski, Mike Keane, Bryan Allen, Todd Bertuzzi, Brendan Morrison, and of course Markus Naslund. Back then the team seemed so average but for some reason they were a exciting and thrilling team to watch. We had attitude grit and a take no crap attitude going into games. It was a fun time to be a Canuck.

Actually, Gretzkys #99 is retired by the NHL. Nobody in the league can wear that number. Nazzys #19 is retired by the Vancouver Canucks so nobody on the Canucks team can wear that number.
