@guessonetheory You have to either add two areas (if they're on opposite sides of the mean) or subtract a smaller area from a bigger area (if they're on the same side of the mean). Thinking of them as shapes, like pieces of paper cut-outs can help with thinking about it.

how can you do this to get an area between two numbers under a normal curve? if that makes sense. lol
