YES Super Clear LCD another great SONY make more better than that piece of crap apple tries to sell ad dare i say it better than super amole for Samsung not sure about the plus model or the new model coming out for the Samsung galaxy nexus which will have 720p HD resolution - that's 1,280 x 720 pixels around 316ppi on the larger screen so apple crap again why do people buy apple when there so many better offer out there all that apple is are lairs who over charge crap in a nice box gift tagged

On gingerbread you see the real difference, try using Crt animation on Htc super lcd versus samsung super amoled. Super lcd first makes the animation after that the gray light which should be black turns off. But on super amoled the crt animation turns off the screen just like it should. That was where i saw major difference, i could never ever again use lcd after super amoled. :)

Not only black. Look at skintone on 0:17. Green face on super lcd and much better (more natural) on samoled.

This is a retarded video. Because the camera and our displays are not Super Amoled or Super LCD, you can't see the effect anyway. I have looked at both, and this video takes away 90% of their effects.

Super Amoled Plus is better than both combined.

And @mikestonecold, brighter does not mean better. It means brighter. Some people like it more natural looking, others more vibrant.

I have used both the phones and overall wave 2 (8530) is much better than wave (8500) The super clear lcd of wave 2 is new technology so obviously it is better than super amoled

I used both phones and gotta say wave 2 is better compared to the movies section....but since wave is smaller wave is comparatively handy...so both are good in its own way.

i wud have only upgraded to wave II if it had a super amoled screen aswell. cuz i think the normal wave screen is a bit small for my fat thumbs and a bigger screen wud be nice. so i upgraded to galaxy s. sorry bada :(

you know.. good thing is supoeramloed DOES look better, bad thing is: you only see it when haveing antoher phone next to yours to compare it too. i'll get the wave 2.. bigger screen is more importand to me then a crispy screen that only looks as much "better" when i have to compare it.

Sure, but Super LCD is crisper, consumes less and has more natural colors.

And who cares much of black level on a phone screen? Man, it's not a 42'' living room plasma panel, you're not gonna sit along with your friends around your Smartphone, watching a blockbuster.

As for me, I’d rather sacrifice deep blacks for the sake of more natural colors and lower energy consumption. Just my IMHO.

porque no pruebas a cambiar la posicion de los moviles, este video no nos lleba a ninguna conclusion, ya que la pantalla del wave s8500 parece mas grande que la del s8530, cuando es al contrario. por lo tanto repito este video no da la realidad.
