im goin here in march but ive been told to stay away from the beach that its not clean and to go to one of the nearby island by ferry!! any advice?

@goldyn12345 -- I think those claims are ridiculous. The beach is very nice. As a bonus, it is a lot like a Thai dim sum with all of the vendors coming through with delicious and inexpensive seafood. The umbrella rental is also very inexpensive. Have fun!

@goldyn12345 -- primarily shrimp and soft shell crab (as seen in the video). It was delicious and I was perfectly healthy afterward. :-)

that's happens everywhere. try staying in vegas, atlantic city, daytona beach, etc. without any cash. here in the u.s. they don't start smiling again until they've finished kicking your ass.

@warren1816 ,actually i was in the usa a while ago,had no money at all cos i was supposed to be picked up by my employers who forgot i was arriving,i had the best 3 nights of my life with the girl from the bus company who took care of me.honestly buddy thai women are the most mean heartless type ,they will do anything and they dont care who they hurt for money,,but be my guest and find out if you dont believe me

The NON-tourist places are really different

its kind of true mate, live there long enough and hang even with thais abroad, they worship money. the land of smiles slogan should be changed to ''22 dollar girlfriends per night land''
