Who did JJ play with his last two years? None of the guys he played with as a junior and senior have made much of an impact in the NBA.

On the other hand, Tyler Hansbrough played with Brendan Wright as a sophomore, and Wayne Ellington and Ty Lawson the past three years, who should be at least decent NBA players.

Lawson and Ellington had as much to do with UNC's title as Hansbrough did.

Nelson went undrafted and played a little for the Warriors before being let go (he did manage to get a spot as the Bulls' 3rd string PG).

McRoberts didn't play in Portland and is barely playing in Indiana.

Deng was at Duke during JJ's sophomore year but left right after; he wasn't there when JJ was a junior and senior.
