Kerry is truly amazing, I loved Idina but I've seen Kerry as both Elphaba and Nancy and also met her twice and she is the nicest person, down to earth and very talented.

I have to say I prefer her Elphaba, she was more animated and gave more energy to the performance. West end and Broadway no different.

@loathing14 yep it's a mic, in every theatrical production you'll find the mic's hidden in the hairline and it leads to the mic pack around the waist/chest. It's the best place to put it especially if the role requires you to move a lot :-)

If I dont like something I usually wont comment. But, kerry, kerry, kerry. I can see the wheels turning in your head! What to do next, which way will i move my hand etc. I've watched alot of her Wicked songs, and theyre all the same. She's trying SO hard to not be Idina that she forgets to be Elphie. When she hits the high notes she sounds great. When she's just mum singing her vibrato is terrible. I dont know how she got to be elphaba, but props darlin. She could be SO good, but as of now, bleh

No one knows. There's a crazy rumor that it comes out in 2010, but there's no official statement about it. Somebody just posted that on IMDB and started a rumor. The producers said that when the show slows down in popularity, they'll probably make a video (considering the show is produced by a film company) but the show is still just as popular as ever.

kerry's elphaba has a rather bubbly personality, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but its not my cup of tea so to speak, at least not for this role even tho i do like how she puts her own spin on the character

Wow! She is captivating! Idina set an incredible precedent and I will say that Kerry seems to have made it her own! It seems to me that Idina has a more edgy or rebellious acting style in this show which I enjoyed but Kerry's voice is superb!

A poor musical, which could have been much much better with better lyrics, better songs and better direction all round. The only decent song is Defying Gravity - it was the only thing that actually kept me awake throughout the performance in London last week. It is far too nicey nice considering just how dark the Wizard of Oz really is. It will be interesting to see Andrew Lloyd Webber's interpretation of the Wizard of Oz when it opens next year in he West End.
