Cancel the pre-order. If you want UMD + downloads + in-built MIC, the PSP selling in the stores now has them all.

To download the EXACT same games, use Sony's Media Go (free download) to get on the Playstation Store and download games.

Every PSP downloads the EXACT same identical games. There are no "just for PSP Go" exclusive games.

You need a USB cable & Memory Stick Pro Duo to hold your games. But even a large (16GB) memory stick & PSP is cheaper than the Go.

Look at places like Adorama, Bhphotovideo, Amazon, etc. The PSP Go is mainly for people that want the small size and Bluetooth and zero UMDs.

It also comes with Media Go software on CD in the box. All PSPs are using this to download these days. Even if you never do, it will take UMDs.

Sony will keep selling this unit and still keep selling UMDs. PSP Go won't replace it, it will sell at the same time.

The browser has not been updated, so expect similar functionality.

If you want to put your own vids on any PSP, use MediaCoder PSP Edition (I'm assuming you have a USB cable for it).

The Go offers bluetooth and compact size. It does come with 16GB, but a 16GB memory stick for your existing PSP is actually less than the extra they charge for the Go. Plus of course you can get 8GB or less if you want, since it can also do UMDs.

PSP 3000 i heard has scan lines... Things like this won't return on the Go. Why? because people has already played it.... my point I LOVE THE GO, but if i replace my lost psp i will get back to PSP 1001 UNLESS i hear more about the cool things about this console. It looks realy good, especialy if its you first psp. I know for a fact you can download games from your ps3 onto your psp go so that you can have a full game both on your ps3 and ps3 go. This is pretty cool and can save some money.
