I am American so technically I cannot call myself natively proficient. My grandmother never spoke English so I learned Italian from her and my Father..I am idiomatic in Italian though, Portuguese not as much.
Spanish is not a stretch from Italian, that is my next language. German would be good, There are MANY English speakers in Russia, so no need to learn. Arabic, no thanks, the language that we need to be learning, if things do not change internationally, is Chinese...

@accordwhippa The second proof to my point (first proof is below this post) is that, according to you, Africans have had the evolutionary head start, so using that logic, you Africans should be at the top of the evolutionary / intellectual heap. In reality the reverse is true. While other societies and the other two races have gone on to modernize their social structure through innovation, Africa has not. There is MORE inbreeding in rural African tribes than ANYWHERE else on the planet.
