For example, if I am to believe that sodium reacts violently in water, I would first need to see evidence of this - I can't just say that I have faith that it will. So asking me to DISPROVE god is irrelevant. I know who Craig is and he doesn't know what he's talking about; anyone can easily disprove creationism.

It has nothing to do with computer design. Language is not a "miracle", but rather it is an adaptation we learned to separate ourselves from Neanderthals.

The bible does not flat out say AGE OF EARTH = 6000 years, but what it DOES do is provide a genealogical path from Adam (first man) to the time of Jesus (then add 2000 years to get to our time) and you get approximately 6000 years. Look in Genesis 5 and Luke 3 for starters. As for DNA being like a computer, could you elaborate?...

Hey, does anybody know a good site to find these song's meanings? I've tried wikipedia (not the best source I know) and a few others, but they sometimes contradict each other. I really want to understand songs like Hush Yael (I know the story, but want to understand why they put the "cut him slow" at the end) and all of the others. As from what I know, the story behind this album is a preacher who preaches the word of God for only his own personal gain, not for the authenticity of his word or the good of the Lord. This preacher has an atheist daughter, and in the end she ends up being the one to give her Father a wake up call. They use God's grace to be forgiven and start living life for the correct reasons.
Hush Yael is the only song on the album not a part of the story.
@TBrobson thats is sort of right, its about the end of the world (the rapture) and the preacher see's god leave him so he feels he has to go through it all alone, which is what each song is about him going through towards the end of the world without god, the other song not about the rapture is dealers of fame which is about 2 boys in russia not sure of their names who went around torturing and murdering people a few years ago

For example, if I am to believe that sodium reacts violently in water, I would first need to see evidence of this - I can't just say that I have faith that it will. This just CANNOT be true simply by the fact that there are fossils predating this by millions of years. Lol DNA = computer design? DNA is our exact sequence for our body to build off of. It has nothing to do with computer design. Language is not a "miracle", but rather it is an adaptation we learned to separate ourselves from Neanderthals.

The bible does not flat out say AGE OF EARTH = 6000 years, but what it DOES do is provide a genealogical path from Adam (first man) to the time of Jesus (then add 2000 years to get to our time) and you get approximately 6000 years. Look in Genesis 5 and Luke 3 for starters. As for DNA being like a computer, could you elaborate?...

Animals have the ability to have knowledge through instinct alone, and instinct could not be called information since all of said animal is born with it. For example take bird migration: how does a bird know to fly south before winter comes? Does someone come along and give them this life-or-death information? No, it is a purely instinctual activity driven by evolution itself.

The tree which was dated as being 9,550 years old was not counted by rings. Rather remnants of its roots were radiocarbon dated. And radiocarbon dating is not in many cases a precise dating method. So in reality I would only trust the normal dating method for living trees.

Hey, does anybody know a good site to find these song's meanings? I've tried wikipedia (not the best source I know) and a few others, but they sometimes contradict each other. I really want to understand songs like Hush Yael (I know the story, but want to understand why they put the "cut him slow" at the end) and all of the others. As from what I know, the story behind this album is a preacher who preaches the word of God for only his own personal gain, not for the authenticity of his word or the good of the Lord. This preacher has an atheist daughter, and in the end she ends up being the one to give her Father a wake up call. They use God's grace to be forgiven and start living life for the correct reasons.
Hush Yael is the only song on the album not a part of the story.
