  • In Golf rear bumper (incl. ligting, bumper react beam) and rear doors should be replaced anyway...

Or simply repair paintwork and sell it to some red neck - the rust (after 2-3 yars) on the doors would be his problem :-P

  • Ford , is a nightmare in the car dreams , why are you here in our world ford?

  • @Amero1 AMEN!

  • Why is VW lifted?

  • @MrRStEscort

Its raised at the back like it would be if it was braking hard.

  • vw is shit. not ford. try to hit the other car witch is parked. the parked one always wins, no matter what car make you drive, bmw toyota or renault

  • ford is the most stupid car i have ever seen in my life

  • ford is shit !

  • they lifted the golf so it missed the bumper witch caused more damage to the focus

  • boring

  • langweilig

  • vw wins

  • fords are ment to crinkle in accidents it absorbs shock better. all newer 95+ have crinkle zones all around front engine bay pop the hood and look this proves nothing Ford = 5 star rating Golf = 3 or 4 ...

  • @sum41657 golf=euroncap 5 star rating ntsha=5 star iihs top safety pick 5 star front side rear

  • @sum41657 "fords are ment to crinkle in accidents it absorbs shock better" Thats a poor excuse for the crappy way they make them. Unlike VW the thin sheet metal and thin bumper plastic used on Fords won't stand up to any low speed knocks or bangs at all. I own a Seat Leon and I used to have a Ford Transit Connect. I reversed it into a metal cage around a tree and it bent the bottom corner and the rear split doors dented and wouldn't close properly after I reversed into a Transit at low speed.

  • @sum41657 My mates dad scraped his Focus on a metal wall on the corner of the bumper and it bent the front structure and mishaped theleft wing. I bashed my Leon in the same place twice. 1. against a solid post 2. rear ended a parked Vectra and its totally solid. I also rshunted a metal crash barrier at a Shell garage and all it did was knock out the little light which I slotted back in. Its just that Golfs and Leons are better built then Focuses and Connects and I should know.

  • @sum41657 "Ford = 5 star rating Golf = 3 or 4 ..." False! The Mk1 Focus from 1998-2004 was awarded 4 stars in the Euro Ncap tests. The Golf Mk4 from 1998-2004 was also awarded 4 stars in the Euro Ncap tests. Its just that VW's are built better than Fords with better quality bumpers and better sheet metal which was treated to protect them against rust. Fords crinkle more because it costs more in repairs and that way Ford can make more money out of low speed accidents if they crumple easily.

  • @sum41657 Not in this case, all cars are designed with crumple zones, not "crinkle" zones. Anybody that think a car should "crinkle" in this slow of a crash is just as stupid as you and the 7 people who agree with you.

  • @92CamryLE thanks for calling me stupid. words of wisdom from the guy with a 1992 CAMRY! wow im the stupid one when you are the one driving an ugly ass 20 year old car that is slow as shit! What is it like 120 HP WOW im so jealous of you! please lets swap lives. i want to be as knowledgeable as you. good luck with your food stamps

  • @sum41657 lolol, can't defend your ignorance so you attack my favorite car. And, I don't like my Camry because I'm poor, I like it because it's simple, reliable and fun. BTW, we own two early model BMW's an 04 Highlander, 05 Impreza and an 07 Tundra. just sayin'

  • @92CamryLE whatever you need to tell yourself man

  • @sum41657 And in case you didn't get the message the first time, the Ford performed like the shit it is.

  • @sum41657 HaHa your so fucking jealous, volkswagen have probably never produced a car without a 5 star safety rating!

  • *SMACK!* haha

  • @TheSoilemezidis worst untill this car saves your life and gets you clean out of nasty situations...mine has done so, and I can't blame her for anything: if it weren't for its stability agility and breaking capabilities, I would have had at least 2 nasty accidents with idiots passing the red light and crossing bruscly from one line to another. As long it saved me, for me it's a wonderfull car

  • ford got owned

  • Crashtest2302 you agree

  • Those Germans really know how to make their cars

  • the 1998–2004 (Europe) 1999–2007 (North America) Ford Focus was assembled in

    Saarlouis, Germany

    Wayne, Michigan, United States

the 1999-2006 Volkswagen Golf was assembled in

    Wolfsburg, Germany

    São José dos Pinhais, Brazil

    Bratislava, Slovakia

    Uitenhage, South Africa

    Jakarta, Indonesia

  • i have both :D

  • golf win

  • Golf is very stronger in rear and front, I have one and 1 car hit me in rear., then I hit a car with my front and no broken plastics

    Sorry for my english

  • @Neodymio Volkswagens are undeniably stronger against shunts then Fords are. When Fords have a shunt they will literally fall to pieces. Even though Fords are as safe as houses they don't actually deflect any of the unintentional crashes that well. Most of the time Golfs can be dusted off and driven after a shunt which is good. Focuses can be a £££ nightmare if you bash anything. The whole front and components fall apart really easily and it can cost you a real fortune repairing it.

  • @1ns4ne1d10t I hit a Peugeot long 406 and the trunk was bent, the trunk's floor and part of the roof.

Then an old Ford Escort hit me and the Escort's optic fell down and part of the bumper, my Golf only a scrape.

  • @Neodymio My Leons a cheaper Golf Mk4 and a fast careless Vectra driver backed into her nearly 3 years ago. The Vectras rear bumper folded inwards and the collision had stoved the boot in and the stoving had made further concertina ripples near the lights. My Leon was fine. I wiped the paint marks off and it didn't even break the registration plate. Mines a Seat but a very solid car, I was shocked. My sister also backed her VW Passat into a big 4x4 very hard and nothing happened to it Lol.

  • @Neodymio anche tu sei italiano?anch'io?parlerò comunque in inglese:Your bumper will not do anything because the plastic deforms but returns again with a start and make that noise "clock". if you look at the other collision happens steeso happened with you. hello

  • @nicolaarisi24 Excuse me, I meant the crash box or impact absorber, the bumper is only a plastic, yes.
