Launch Octopus' theme song is awesome, and I thought the two descending screens with water pools were pretty inventive too, but still an easy stage overall. Good job
This had a good choice of 16-bit to 8-bit music conversion. i mean, it's just that MMX's soundtrack is so much better than MMX3's in my view, and Launch Octopus's theme in MM2 came out great.
The level really WAS pretty easy, especially since Bubble Man wasn't any tougher to beat than in the actual game. But those pools of floating water was pretty intresting, and i kept expecting one of those giant fish from the real game's Wily Stage 3 to jump up while you were crossing the bottom floor.
OMG I was SOOO ready for one of those fish too!!! Yeah, the music in this was pretty sweet. I do admit, Bubbleman was a bit more of a pain than he looks, but not by much. his bullets and his jump are a bit faster, and he'll launch quite a few bubbles. No biggie though
