Nascar Racing 3 crashes and saves - thanks for the memories

Even though the cars couldnt flip over, this was still a great game engine for its day, miles ahead of everyone else

i wasen't going for realistic crashes...hell going backwards at tally going head on at 200+MPH towards a 200+MPH pack of CPUs isn't realistic...atleast i dont think it is...i was just showing...

1. some big crashes...mainly beacuse there was a lack of N3 Vids out there.

2. some CPU fails beacuse a good part of thos wrecks where CPUs wrecking.

ill take your advice for next time and dont worry about it, id rater have come advice for next time then just go "it was good". thats how to improve.

@shadowspeedyV1 i just wish i still had my copy of N3 installed, but all the replays I had were like 4 computers ago anyway. And just so you know, fraps and videospin are both free.... a great combo of easy tools... there is better out there but most cost money.

bck when i made this vid FRAPS would give me 1-4 FPS thats why it has such bad quality.

my comopuer is 10 years old right now LOL

i get 15-22 FPS now so i can do a better job now.(you can see how much better it looks with my new vid that shuold be up soon)

anyway as I said this was a great game. I have played every Papy game since the first NASCAR and Indycar games ( and I believe Papyrus also had a hand in 1989's Indy 500 simulator which was my first racing sim, which is quite amazing and realistic for its time, at least 6 years ahead of its time ). Playing all the Papy sims really teaches somebody who doesn't drive race cars how difficult it really is. Most people I know can't even race in sim mode in NR2k3 season lmao. I do it at 103% tho.

I would highly recommend trying their Indycar games as well, since I noticed most NASCAR fans seem to think Stock Cars are harder to handle than Indy Cars.... you'll find the story is quite the opposite.

@shadowspeedyV1 sorry i wrote a response then read that these were all online when I thought you had simply made wrecks on purpose before. Anyway use fraps to do 30 sec video captures then put them together with videospin. Also, the blank carsets never fly you'd be better off just doing single player wrecks with AI than that. Actually NASCAR 3's online wrecks kind of stink if you think about it... so maybe you'll get a much better video by doing all single player

@erasetoimprove run a whole season of 150+ mile races against the AI, and try as hard as you can to stay clean... it's usually the wrecks that happen when you're trying to avoid them that make the best videos, so the more natural looking the better. Also it's probably a bad idea to show the glitches such as the 5,000 RPM spinning glitch NASCAR 3 has. People look at these videos for realism and a neat appeal, so the cartoonish looking wrecks are pretty much thumbs down for them, I noticed.

Sorry, but the crashes just arent very realistic, i know its a game, but it makes the video better.
