  • Looks like ur getting tossed by a .223. I actually plan on getting the sr556

  • Duuude! That was sweeeet!

  • @mflo11 Thank you!!!!

  • man i really hope the SC version with the non-extendable buttstock is long enough for me. im 6'2 with pretty long arms.

  • That was worth watching just for the sound effects.

I wish I had a range where I could practice double taps.

  • @Gostwriterindisguise Thanks man, I have since moved so I wish the same, lol

  • Not really??

Ya done good son, ya done good!

  • @tapecleats Thanks

  • The cheapest I can find this gun is like $2100.

  • @PlaystFreak wow, I guess I got a good deal!

  • Ruuugerr ! smart man, i love ruger firearms. ive been checking that sr-556 for a wile, i think im going to stop buying pistols and start saving to purchase the 556. dont get me wrong man sr-556 is on my wish list! great video thanx. my price in cali is about 1600, its a pretty penny.

  • @xcessdj Did you get it yet?

  • hows it shoot would u recomend one???

  • @isaiahman1234567 I would, I love it!

  • @DuRo1982 ok thanks

  • Luck bast*rd, because of ITAR Ruger will not even think of shipping them up here to Canada.

  • @brokenpine284 I had to leave my handgun in Canada as I was passing through because a lady told me the wrong information for a form I was supposed to fill out!

  • @brokenpine284 i was lucky enough to find one in canada.

  • Your grip seems alittle loose try keeping a tighter grip as well just so that you dont have to reaim everytime

  • actually, not that crappy...thanks

  • @danmeyers lol thanks

  • i cant tell 100% from the angle, but ur gas setting may be wrong. what did u have it set at?

  • @SpdDemon69 It was set at 1 when I first bought it.

  • how much does that gun cost

  • @caretakercy about 1,300

  • Beautiful weapon :) And i'm going to jump on the bandwagon with everyone else and say you need to extend that stock to control it. (I use just one click and it works great for me). Other then that, have fun shooting dude!

  • like others said, just bring the sock back and you should beable to control the muzzle rise more.

  • Your camera rocks man. Your AR was sounding like a hand cannon.

  • Thanks!!!!!

  • like everyone said, bring the stock back. other than that, cool!

  • that baby look sweet!!!

  • hey is that the S.cushman range in fbks?

  • yep!!

  • not a crappy vid, and fucken sick rifle!

  • That looks like the South Cushman range in Fairbanks. Am I right?

  • Yep the one and only!

  • Definitely a fearsome sounding AR! Extend that buttstock man! Good vid.

  • Nice gun! I would suggest that you extend the buttstock a bit more, looks like you need a longer LOP, the gun was recoiling on you quite a bit and that can be reduced by having the buttstock good and tight against ur shoulder

  • Thanks for the tip

  • nice vid. man ide love to have one of these guns my 18th birthday is comin up and i still havnt decided on what i want a ruger sr-556 or a smith and wesson ar-15.

  • lol, good luck with that one buddy

  • good video, love those double taps and triple taps!

  • looks like fun. im considering picking up a piston upper for my colt. nice video

  • Cool Vid - I have a Ruger also - with a RED Dot site & Laser.....now I can't miss - it's like spell check....

  • I think your spelling a sign that your sights need to readjusted lol. *Sight.

  • I pick mine up saturday. So pumped.

  • you say "crappy vid of you shooting", but of all the videos i have watched of people shooting anything (rifles, pistols, b b guns) your video is on of the top three of the "best sounding". 5 stars, thanks for sharing.

    peace

  • Nice dude!

Though, I think the stock looked a little far forward for you. Now I'm not expert, but it looked like it was lending to the recoil. But whatever!

How does the gun feel? How does it shoot? I've been thinking about an SR 556 for a bit now and it'd be nice to get an owners opinion!

  • Put your back to it, my brother! Great vid.

  • So they are already selling them?

  • how much was the gun

  • I believe MSRP for it is around $1995 but any store out there sells them for around 1200-1600. Rugers usually sell well below the MSRP

  • 1200??! WHERE?!

  • Great for what you get.

  • Nice vid Duro. Very nice gun and your gunhandling was great.

  • Thanks alot.

  • i think some shooting glasses would have helped

  • i was gonna b the first black guy firing his 556 lol, guess u beat me to it!

  • Its good to see Pro 2A videos done by black people, especially using high end guns instead of some POS High Point or Lorcin.

  • I did the vid as soon as I bought it! LOL

  • is that gun fully auto also or just semi?

  • Semi

  • Oh yeah, I forgot to add to watch the buffer tube. On the inside just after where the pin holds the buffer in place in the stock, it will wear down and possibly wear a hole through the buffer tube. But keep in mind this is a problem on all piston ar-15s not just the Rugers. I read people are working on a solution. Even though this sounds like a huge issue, and it is, that can lead to problems, but one can always replace a buffer tube. This is after like a thousand rounds or close to it.

  • I will look out for that, thanks for the heads up!

  • Fantastic!

  • Oh yea!
