Ok, I got this game yesterday, having never played number 1 or any of the others, and I am already stuck. I was "racing" my brother when I mis-judged a jump and fell down. I paused the game and quit, as I had to go to work. When I got home, it started me with my brother halfway up the racecourse, with me at the start. Everytime I "lose" or get "de-synced" or whatever, it starts me back with my brother half done the race and me at the start, AGAIN. It is impossible to beat him. What do I do?

I had the same error when I started out, Ezio's brother would race on in front while I was still ditherling about! still I have completed the game now and I totally LOVE IT! Let us all hope that the Brotherhood is just as wicked as the second one!

EEEE! I love this game. :D Ezio's great comic relief as the follow-up to Altair's story. Altair wasn't particularly funny because he was so serious all the time. In this game, Ezio's hilarious. I find the subtitles significantly odd... Instead of having either english or italian subtitles, they've got italian, but with english translations in brackets?. Why not just have proper english subtitles, or proper italian subtitles? Come to that, why not just have dialog in one language or the other? What, was everyone in Venice bilingual? Even if they were, bilingual people don't generally mix languages while speaking. I mean I'm bilingual myself, but i don't say things like éste es wack :p

LOL I think they just did it to sound more legit, but appeal to a broader audience. If they're from Venice, they should have accents and speak the language, but it'd be a bold move if they made the whole game in Italian, and it would seem less legit if they all spoke just English. While not realistic, I didn't mind the whole Italian-English bilingual-ness.

IMO it seems like Ezio was a rumbustious, and slightly rebellious youth. He was causing mischief, messing around with Christina, running from Christina's father/ his guards. He naturally learned all of his roof running abilities from his daily activities. Plus, he already had it in his blood. That explains both him and his brother Frederico having those abilities.
