Wow, when I listen to him talk, he actually knows what he's talking about. People actually complain about him being "long-winded" (which is a bad way of saying logical/reasonable albeit not too concise), but I'd rather have that than some sound byte candidate who from the moment they open their mouths, you know they're sloganeering and speaking half-truths. And since when is his politeness a drawback? I happen to think the opposite, he's not an uncivil war hawk like the rest of his party.
I wish Ron Paul would start publicly naming names ie; Rockafellas etc. It's a privately run legal counterfeiting cartel. I love Ron Paul but he needs make some more incendiary comments against these people. In other words, get aggressive!
Wall Street depends upon the profit from war to maintain stable and balanced. Were heading towards an economic collapse that Wall Street controls because of the never-ending wars in the Middle East. We need to collapse Wall Street by ending the wars and this collapse will be the turning point in this very dark age of corruption, murder and deception. It's up to men like Congressman Paul to put the military industrial industry OUT OF BUSINESS!! and so goes Wall Street and the Federal Reserve.
Umm that was the late 1700's. Things kind of changed in the last 200 years. I'm not very familiar with the Islamic Crusades. But one could say the repercussions for their actions, or the "blowback" that became of it, has been the attempted domination of their sand by the Western nations over the past 100 years or so.
What's idiotic? The fact that you deny the term, and thruth that our own CIA has coined. Or that you're own commy, nation buiilding ideas have been thrown to the ground? Go back to Russia. They could teach you a thing or two about how well things go when you war in the Middle East for an extended period od time, idiot.
Or perhaps you're a coward who will continuously hide under your blanket until the next terrorist attack comes. Then maybe like the republicans and the patriot act, you'll give your guns to Obama when he demands them. All so he can protect you from terrorists of course.
That's so retarded, the patriot act is really unconstitutional! People don't want to just attack America because we exist, they want to attack us because of us interfering with everyone.
"Would you think the same thing if he went on something called "WHITE ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION"."
The same thing.
Btw, Ron Paul gives interviews to Fox "News." They're not racists but... Dr. Paul said that that Network sopported war but why loosing the opportunity to speak what he thinks there?
There is nothing wrong with Ron Paul reaching out to ALL people, ALL HUMAN BEINGS to sread his views. If you think these peolpe are such BAD people, who better than Ron to bring them back to the good side. I am fine with Ron Paul talking to the Black Panthers and the KKK. Supporting these groups may not be right, but for him to speak to them about HIS VIEWS is OK.
I absolutely believe that if Ron Paul was elected president, the recession/depression would be over by now. Because he believes in time tested economic policies. Ron Paul has NEVER voted for a tax increase.
I wouldn't say that. It take more then one term from Ron to fix the economy. He has years of malinvestment to fix. And ending the welfare and all the wars, will be a tough fight as well. Realistically, we would hit rock bottom under ron, but come out strong in the long run.
i remember when 1 american dollar would get you 3,000 mexican pesos then mexico dropped the 000 so with inflation about 1 american dollar for 5 nuevo pesos now its about 1 american dollar for 11 pesos. so yeah.
I agree with many (not all) of Paul's views, BUT for this revolution or movement to have ANY credibility in the years AHEAD, especially if he SADLY remains a Republican, he must continue to DENOUNCE Reagan/Limbaugh-styled "conservatism" IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS - in front of TODAY'S "What would Reagan do?" zombies. It's obvious that as of 01-20-09 (Do the math), the movement is being infiltrated by too many of the SAME MAINSTREAM dumb it down Limbaugh/Reagan dimwits. They will destroy the movement.
What choice does he have. He has ran as a libertarin before and no one voted for him. People need to understand that thier is a difference between Conservative and Republican. True conservatives are more like Ron Paul and Republicans are more Limbaugh
You're missing the point. The "Paul" people already know him. The OTHER 95% of "conservatives" who were NOT listening and ONLY (chose to) "wake up" when W left (because they have been in DENIAL for 3 decades) are only BEGINNING to listen to Paul. Regardless of label ("R", independent, libertarian, conservative, whatever), the Reagan zombies (Still 95%) need to know that any return to Reagan-styled dumb it down conservatism is NOT the way to go. That is exactly what led to this disaster.

As a former Democrat, I sincerely agree with you. I voted for Obama due in no small part to my ignorance, the hateful Republican attacks toward him, and the lack of corporate media coverage of Ron Paul, and if he was covered he was belittled like a small housefly. I recently watched "For Liberty" and it made me realize that Democrats have a racial diversity (real or perceived) that gives the illusion that the policy of the current administration favor the will of the people (cont.)
And I thought wouldn't it be great to have a subgroup like "Minorities for America" (I'm Asian American myself) to show everyone who is politically ignorant that we shouldn't be bunched up with the neocons, and that individual liberty isn't exclusive to any one race (or religion, folks of different sexual orientations etc.) I have Obama supporting friends who know almost nothing about Dr. Paul but assume he's like all the other clowns in the Republican Party. It's a real problem.
Certainly I understand it because I chose to be informed (well, more informed anyway). But I also think we need to do a better job of giving off the APPEARANCE of being very inclusive. As opposed to For Liberty where they travel to a GB Packers game where all you see are caucasians. In this way, it's like selling a product to the diverse liberal majority in this country. Think of the impact that would have. When I discovered Dr. Paul, it felt like taking the red pill in the Matrix.
Well, I would consider myself a Libertarian. When talking to a Liberal they have no problem with personal rights & freedoms because that's part of their platform, but as soon as I bring up personal responsibility they cling to their social programs. I think the only way they will understand is when the social programs dry up. as long as Obama is dangling the health care carrot over their heads, they're happy to toe the line.
Not all liberals want to take away your guns. Just the ones in power in the government but we have the power to make sure they are not re-elected.
Case in point. A neighbor of ours has been a Democrat all their lives and they no only own guns but they would use them to protect their home and loved ones.
Let's not make this about right vs. left but We The People against the part of government that is destroying the country.
How is it a batshit liberal like myself can find myself nodding my head more when this guy talks than when Obama talks?
