@Rogue284 I think the english version is just too much interpreted by themselves... There are so many things disrepresented and put in the wrong way... I don't like it, no I hate it! Think it's better to show what is really said in this scene and not fictious added... Plus I hate those english voices... Okay Ruki sounds good but Takato is so bad... His voice really doesn't fit him.
I think any other version than the English is better, sorry. See it like that: What is more? True translation or

The original meant: Family Tachikawa... In season two there is an episode where Hikari goes into another world and Takeru is up to rescue her. The english version makes it more obviously that they seem to be a pair. But the Japanese hides that for the fans. I like "Takari" but I don't like false translation -.-

Digimon for Americans is less a true 'translation' as it is an 'adaptation'. It exists like Robotech exists for Macross (though not quite as edited and flipped around).
