Yeah it was aired, every sunday in the mid 80's in french TV in Canada on "Les superétoiles de la lutte" (superstars of wrestling), Pat Patterson was having a french segment on the show . As for Albano, he probably tried to say Comptois, which is a commom last name in french and still, most people that were watching wrestling in french wouldn't have get the term "Cumtwat"
