I had no idea that design had "techniques." I thought it was just merging bunch of texts and pictures till it looked visually appealing, but I was wrong. I liked the creativity in the comb in the vogue magazine!
Yeah, the saying is true that a picture is worth a 1000 words, but then the text can never be omitted from the scenario. We realize its essence when we variate its placement, look and size to emphasize that very priceless picture. Design, layouts, texts, everything, they're so interconnected and it's freakin cool. I'm gonna really enjoy this design class :D
Text can be expressed differently and it is important to use good fonts and good contrast or layout to make it more interesting. This is very interesting and helps to understand how to get someones attention.

Text shapes are fun and interesting. I've always thought Times New Roman was the best basic font; however, I've learned Serif & Sans Serif is the most recommended. Overall, I think originality is very important to layouts.

I found several significant aspects from this video - the headling and fonts. I found that a small change in the fonts like serif could bring a totally different view or perspective. The headline brought a similar impact; It grabbed the attention of the viewers or readers to be absorbed into the object they were looking. I appreciate this video and thank you!! :)

I was able to learn more about the serifs. I saw it in the HTML code when they told us how to use the serif in our text. Now, I know what exactly serifs are!! I was able to learn more about the fonts in out work. Fonts are important in order to make it match the images of the poster and also to make the messages clear.
