jordan would have won this game. hes better than kobe hah and so is lebron, and durant, and mike bibby chris webbers behind the back passing and also kwame brown
Overall, Games 1, 2 and 3 were not against the Kings. The refs helped the Kings in game 3 giving them 35 FT's to the Lakers 15. But Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3 were not one sided, overall, good offiiciating. But if Kings fans want to complain about Game 6, Laker fans can complain about Game 3. Kobe Bryant fouled out with over 2 min to play??? Come on.
@Salva46 honestly, we shouldnt get so worked up over Queens fans. they are just bitchin beccause their team will never be that good again and they dont watch basketball unless the Kings are winning so they know about as much as a squirrel does about basketball, which isnt much
@RyZombie619 were not all fair weather fans im still a fan of them and have been for over 10 years, so dont just generalise us as that, and in a way yes alot of kings fans r fair weather fans but im just trying to say there r some of us who r loyal
I firmly believe if Peja had been healthy, the Kings would have won. At that point Peja had been monstrous, and had a killer 3pt percentage that year.
But otherwise, a strong duel between two great teams. I haven't seen a rivalry like this since.
The Lakers fans that call the Kings "Queens" have either no appreciation for good basketball, can't stand to see their team look like mortals, or are just mouthing off what some goofball basketball players say in trash talk. Newsflash-->You're not
Lakers 28 fouls, Kings 19. Lakers 15 FTA. Kings 35. AT STAPLES. I just know why the queens always are talking about gm 6. That was the only game the refs didn't help them.
@Salva46 amen, way to speak the truth. If you look at all the games and FTA's per game, its prretty crazy. Game 1: Lakers-22, Kings-17. Pretty even. Game 2: Lakers-25, Kings-38!!! Hmmm, a little one sided there? Game 3: Lakers-15, Kings-35!!!! Are you kidding me? Game 4: Lakers-27, Kings-26. Very even. Game 5: Lakers-23, Kings-33!!!! Game 6: Lakers-40, Kings-25. The only time the Lakers had a definite FTA advantage in the series, where as the Kings held it for 3 games. GAme 7: Lakers 33 Kings 30
OK SO FAR: Kings outplayed the Lakers. The Lakers were looking terrible, they weren't hitting their shots and leaving Kings players wide open. The refs played no part in deciding the outcomes of Game 1 or Game 3, Game 2 was poorly officiated but the Lakers still didn't play that good.
this iz the real deal why sacramento was better..more veteran players..divac played since 1993 and so doug christie...webber has been playing for years on three different teams..Mike Bibby waz really good for his age ..Peja waz playing pro since 1992...Only kobe and shaq and fisher were veterans
Only Kobe and Shaq and Fisher were veterans???? Are you kidding me? Robert Horry played and won titles with Rockets in the mid 90's (before Webber and Bibby and Peja were even in the NBA), Fox has been playing for a while, Kobe, Fisher, Shaq, and Lindsey Hunter were all veterans, Hunter spent years with Detroit. So, no that is not why. The reason the Lakers were better was because they didn't bark at the refs every 5 seconds like the Kings did and they had tons of experience.
dude, seriously? get over it. If the Kings really outplayed the Lakers then they would have won. No matter what you think you know, you don't. Your conspiracy theories belong in the looney bin. The refs didn't screw the Kings. The Kings would have won the series if they could have won Game 1, but they didn't. The Lakers played better than them in Game 1 and that game was well officiated.
this sacramento team show what team basketballl( or may even team sports period) ...is all about....good shooting...man to man defense ...help defense ......good passing ....perfect rebounding...isnt that basketball ???
Yeah I agree. To me they were the most beautiful team to watch ever. Their ball movement was tremendus. Everybody was totally unselfish and played their hearts out for each other in order to get the job done. Individually they were great, but as a team they were even better. If Stojakovic would have been healthy, the Kings would probably have won it all that year.
@butn0tyet if the refs knew what basketball was all about....they would not fix tha series...winning takes mental and physical effort.....not interference of them
all i can say about this game is,Webber's alley-oop is way better than Shaq

@RyZombie619 and what about the gm 5? The most dominant player ever only went to the line one time. That's very funny, right? LMAO

@Salva46 yeah, seriously. the day Shaq goest to the line once in an entire game as the best, most dominant center in the game, you know somethings up

@swimfastfly27 on the Laker's team, you don't need to speak for them. Enjoy a good game of basketball.

lakers shot 58 free throws in that fixed game 6 and could still only win by 4. 58 free throws! what a fucking joke.

Plus Shaq and Kobe were better than any player on the Kings and Phil Jackson made Adelman look like a peon.

We all know Sacramento outplayed the Lakers in this series and deserved to win. This series still haunts me 7 years later...

Man too bad the NBA had other plans they completly had a hand in the outcome of this series and did not let the best team go to the nba finals!
