What you espoused here certainly applies to me. It took 5 years of research on 9-11 to realize that it was one card in a large deck and as soon as I realized that I was the sucker in that game I folded my hand and came home.
Now I see the fields on the other side of this fence and I'm a travelin' man and happier than I've ever been!
I recall reading an artist's response to their motivation for work which was, "I'm just trying to make sense out of these dark times we're living in." And also, somewhere on the internet, a man lamenting the fact that he has noting at all in common with his neighbors who spend their time jogging, shopping for cars, drinking cocktails and stoking each other's football mania. And the biggest problem he saw is that there were not any other kind of people to find "out there".
That was an incredibly thoughtful and thought-provoking thesis on the zeitgeist of our times. I know that for me, as I have always loved literature, a watershed moment was discovering the novels of Philip K. Dick. His relentless and seemingly fruitless search for salvation amongst the ruins of modern society was very inspiring. And I wonder--if he had found the little wizard behind the curtain at the end of his journey--would either one have had anything meaningful to say to each other?
A note on 9/11 for me. That day I was shook to the core, but what was more disturbing were the people around me and their reactions; some saw it as "no big deal" while others were completely indifferent. As for me the significance was monumental. I had been sleep walking through life, yet I could plainly see the incredible symbolism in the act itself. I don't know what the "real" story is, but what I do know is that it was the beginning of a great change some of us are experiencing presently.
Questioning Authority is FUN! Trivium? Those who wish to blend act like everyone else, it's risky to be creative, and unconventional. Speaking for myself it's difficult not to notice the disney fairytale affect, Women have absorbed this one way or another and Men on some level as well. That's the myth created for us. Fantastic uptake on the Joesph Campbell concept of lack of Mythology in our modern culture. Hope to see more on this Always enjoy your work, Fantastic!
Anyone doing anything to nudge the snoring masses into waking up a bit has value, I think the Alex Jones style appeals to a certain kind of person. To me, he is like one of those outrageous characters in sideshow alley who catch everyone's attention as they walk by. I can take Alex for about 5 - 10 mins, then I get dizzy. The role of conspiracy theory presented here makes an incredible amount of sense to me and I recognize my own journey through its tangled undergrowth in this interpretation.
Looking at everything is one thing... trying to digest propaganda leaves you with the shits... the consolidated media which almost every society wants to call a 'choice' in most countries a democracy... the fact of the matter is the world is about YOU... when you die the world and the universe end... bunch of rich cocksuckers in $2000 suits? can blow me... Do you know what "wake up" means? It doesn't mean realizing the government and the system are corrupt, everyone knows that, it means something else. The conspiracy theorists have polluted the meaning of waking up.
I'm afraid I am still firmly entrenched in the 9/11 conspiracy mud and until there is a balanced and fair inquiry into the unanswered questions I shall stay there. Love Joseph Campbell and love your work on psychopaths.
I am very open to this all being a big journey and learning experience when at the end of which, we will all sit down in the big canteen in the sky on lunch break and discuss our various roles we have played here :)
Spot on analysis. I started out as a conspiracy lemming; listened to Alex Jones, watched the videos, etc. Then I started to read classic literature (Gulliver's Travels, Goethe's Faust) and 20th century philosophy (Lewis Mumford, Joseph Campbell, Marshall McCluhan) and I feel more at peace with the world, despite it getting worse and worse, than I ever have.
Christianity melded spiritual salvation with personal philosophy and it worked for 1000 years. Westerners need something more now.

Brilliant, Thomas - cheers! I've never felt more grounded the more I've explored so many trending 'through lines' that resonate from those exploring and daring to share various realisations/discoveries online for the benefit of more than just themselves - like you have thankfully! Cheers! :)
Hey Thomas, great to see you back on ut00b again. The Tower analogy is exactly right, the destruction of conditioning, deprogramming, rebuilding (neural pathways) with discernment, experience, self honesty and so forth, each time the Tower falls, its an opportunity to discard illusion from our perception and reality.Really looking forward to watching your new vids in the near future :) Lydia.
Thomas, I see you have a lot of inner wealth & ability to think critically. I hope this new movement does take off. I'm at the stage of HOPING the 100th monkey syndrome will work - that if enough people know the truth about terrorism & inside jobs (e.g. USS Liberty attacked by Israel) that we will get a peaceful revolution like the fall of Communism in 1989-1991.
Absolutely! No accident that you used the Labyrinth image. The classic myths of Theseus, Hercules, Gilgamesh and Odysseus - to cite just a few - are what the ancients put out as journey/development clues or 'blueprints' for the individual 's possible development. What is surprising is how universal they are. Seems to me that if you know of these great myths and stories there will come a time when reflection on a particular myth - which will come to mind - provides all you need.
Alex Jones is a Gateway drug! Love it! I got totally strung out on Alex Jones, went through a period of "just hook it to my veins!" He woke me up big time, But now perhaps that I've got my own radio show on american freedom radio I'm too busy making my own content to pay as much attention to him any more. Still like his show but he's done a few things to other patriots over the years that reek of megalomania. Vinny "MR NEWS" Eastwood
Thanks Thomas, another layer of clarity from your words. This year for the first time i feel grounded and peaceful with a newfelt clarity after 40 years of conspirisy theories. Feel im able to detach and see the drama,s playing while sharing info but not emotionally attached to it. I will always be the curious type re- what,s going on but now i retain a healthy humerous scepticisim.... i look forward to hearing more of your thoughts.... bright blessings..
I like what conclusion you have come to with the hero's journey, mythos, it IS reminiscent of Chiron, (symbolically, astrologically) and Prometheus about the morally wounded healer, giving his life to save Prometheus. What that really means we must try to explore in our own lives, that there may or may not be an external "savior" but even the hero's journey mythology is being exploited by those who would keep us, watching films and reading comics waiting for that external event, when its within.
I've actually been talking about that with many other people recently, so what you say has a real synchronicity for me. So thanks for being a part of that and exploring those ideas.
I really appreciate what you have to say, I guess you are correct that too many have gotten all hung up on the event of 9-11 from BOTH sides. I figured this, maybe everyone including witnesses have some perspective on it, and the AJ 9-11 truth focal point, questions, but then hasn't really gotten over it either. This provides a sick breeding ground for stagnation because its an used by both sides as an excuse, where as everyone is so invested, no one can move on, not the psychotic politicians...
--who exploit this to create their own big brother, substitute abusive father agenda, and waste trillions in tax money while their country goes broke and no one can feed themselves, to those who want to push the other side of using it as a turning point to rally around. The problem with any group think is that, even if it starts off healthy, it gets exploited by those who use the power of the numbers of groups. People get trapped in that.
I keep saying people should explore their own ideas.
I'm sorry to burst your bubble pal, but your entire thesis is faulty because it is based on the assertion that it doesn't matter whether something is a conspiracy "theory" or a conspiracy "fact" and that's a completely wrong assertion.
Because the biggest subjects which are adressed by conspiracy theorists are of very profound nature, so the answer to the question "is it fact or theory?" has an enormous psychological effect on people.
@CCLJunky So to catagorise the mass awakening to the lies and deception that have been going on for decades, centuries and even millennia, simply as the emergence of a new mythos, is just totally wrong if you ask me. It's not even related to eachother in my view.
Also, regarding your remarks about Alex Jones. The fact that the guy exposes truth that instills fear in people, should not be used as an excuse (like you shamefully do) to shut him up. You have to deal with fear and not hide from it.
@CCLJunky Putting fearless people aside as dogmatic nutcases, like you do with mr. Jones, only helps those who seek to keep the lies and deceptions uncovered for the masses.
Now i'm sure that you have a notion of the abbility for evil deeds that mankind has, right? So, keeping that in mind, wouldn't you agree that we as a society should welcome and endorse people like mr. Jones, to go great lengths to uncover truth with no fear for the consequences?
The Pope isn't God's representative on Earth? Fuck, you've just blew my conception's of the world asunder. THE POPE IS TO GOD'S REPRESENTATIVE ON EARTH, IS TO IS TO IS TO ......not! I never was one for dogma, guess that make's me sane? (said wistfully ....pls, it makes me sane right? RIGHT? Have my doubt's)
Surprisingly enough I'm in concordance with your analytic's my Dear Sir; (pompous ass aren't I?) Truthfully good contribution!
Thank you for sharing your views, and great food for thought! I believe that any dogma can be used by the high-level psychopaths to control the masses. It's very dangerous for humanity to blindly follow and forget how to think outside of the box!! And sadly, that has been happening. Glad to hear you are helping to spread awareness..... wake up humanity!!
Self doubt is also more psychologically healthy than deluding oneself into thinking you know all the answers based on repeating something. Talking bullshit and then finding out later it was bullshit and then moving on is perhaps one of the most psychologically healthy things.
When you believe you have all the answers your brain literally starts to die as no new neural pathways are being developed anymore. I suspect this is what drives much of the visceral hatred against CTers.
Spot on Thomas ! We have cleansed ourselves, which is always a hard proces. We live at the cusp of change wich is not easy as well, but when the world as we knew it collapses we can start building right away, and guide other people through the paths of change, rebirth and recreation
Thanks for this, Thomas.

The education system of the last 50 years tells us that "things happen because it was an accident, it was a coincidence"
Education before then taught us that "people conspired to make this happen, here is who did it, and this is how they profited from it"

"The journey is a constant struggle."
Yep, and the struggle is a worthy one as ultimately it is journey back to the real you.

@wisdomtrek
