  • One of the great jazz riffs in the pantheon. Don't know why it's not covered infinitum, or ya know alot. I think Marsalis is adding a note. I'll have to review of course. I just feel like one of the important elements is being glossed over - melodically. I don't post lightly. I just saw the original opening of the show. I am "right". Meaning I think the original phrasing was intentionally a deviation from repetition. Way too esoteric to bother going on... the last horn riff is shortened

  • ...and then came Joshua Redman.

  • @decus69 And????

Josh Redman is a fine player... but he'd admit... He's no Branford....

  • ...and then came Joshua Redman.

  • Aaahhh the old Cosby theme song. I would like to see someone post some of those old episodes.

  • Great Brandford! Great band!

  • The the original Ballad of Chet Kincaid (Theme song from Cosby's Show in the 70's) was a lot funkier. But this an excellent arrangement. The whole "Crazy People Music" album is good

  • The "Dark Knight" from this album is fierce!

  • I love that them, written by Bill Cosby !!!

My favorite Jazz 4tet here, respect.
