It's truly unlimited in the fact that they won't cut-off your internet, just temporarily cap your data speeds. So to those crying "foul!", sorry but it's NOT false advertising.
I want to add this, that Virgin Mobile will now be capping 3G "unlimited" to 2.5GB of data per month. This is to deeter the people that have been tathering it to devices such as PC's, Tablets, iPad's etc. After the 2.5GB limit you will be capped to +/- 256kbps (not cut-off: so technically "unlimited"). This is VERY generous considering post paid carriers charge extra for the same amount of GB's and it's included in the price of all VM price plans (the GB cap will be on the older plans as well).
thats right. they are.. 35/45/55 i still think it would be better for someone that was on 60 to go to the 55.. save 60 a year. i have been a virgin mobile customer on and off.. since highschool.. only have.. the super slice and flasher V7... super slice is about 3.5 years old.. and still works. i am sure i could sell it..

Plus crickets getting 4g lte and a phone like this is bound to have it. My vm experience is okay but datas really inconsistent, hotspot isnt worth a mention i use it to tether itouch4 and its hard to load stuff on it maybe its my area and customer service sucks. Idk though I'm torn any input?

There's a Best Buy pre-order site up. (Who knows how long it'll stay up). According to the page, the Triumph will be $299. Not a bad price considering how much you pay a month, off-contract.

Also, this is one great looking phone! I think the Optimus and Intercept will feel more comfortable in hand, but it's nice to see a large screen 1Ghz option on Virgin! I also like how the OS hasn't been altered. No bloat, just pure Android :)
Just found this out- The Triumph is basically a CDMA version of Huawei's Ideos X6. The Ideos is currently going for $499. Hopefully the Triumph won't be that expensive. :( $279.99 is the sweet spot for me!!!
Also- the unconfirmed release date is July 19. Hopefully retailers like Best Buy or Target pick it up right away since they usually offer promotions like a $50 airtime card or gift card the first week they get it!!!
i highly doubt it'll go over 300, its not virgin mobile-like for them to have a 25$ unlimited everything except minute plan with a phone like this, plus its not dual core or 4g so ...plus i wonder why the optimus v went back to 150, theyre best phone while intercept is 199..hmm >:/ this clearly will put the optimus to second, so maybe theyre setting up prices right
@Jqxv The Intercept is more expensive because in the eyes of an UNEDUCATED buyer, it is the better phone. It has the same size screen, same camera, but it has an 800 MHz processor as opposed to the Optimus's 600 MHz, and a keyboard. Even though the Optimus is definitely way better, the Intercept is the phone that LOOKS better.

@jtoro97 The back huh? The battery lid looks just like an enlarged version of the RAZR's - which it turn makes the whole back look like the RAZR's. It's pretty nostalgic. The RAZR was my first phone and I haven't had one ever since I canceled my contract years ago. I'm so pumped to get this phone! Hopefully it won't be as expensive as the Ideos X6. :( Just found out about the Triumph's relationship to the Ideos today and after seeing the Ideos pricing - I feel disappointed.
this phone is running the same snap dragon processor as the Htc thunderbolt and there is no motoblur a true triumphant phone Sprint/Motorola prepaid market is going to change here on out maybe even the big three carriers will change there minds about plans for consumers anyway a true game changer
