  • At that age muchito I would be very surprised if thats true pointing and not just sight pointing but thats still just as exciting to watch. Im hoping to have a liter of pups this year and cant wait to have a GSP pup rampaging about the place :-)

Thanks for your comment friend !

  • I have a 12 week old GSP that is awesome! she is so beautiful and smart for a young puppy. I have already seen her try to sneak up on birds at 9 or 10 weeks old, and she even pointed at them naturally. I can't wait until she is a little bit older and mature. nice video

  • Top stuff. Great to see a dog working in the field as they were bred to.

  • song is super sense by antonino di leva

  • I dont trial any of my dogs I think watching them work on their natural instinct to purely hunt is where its at. If anyone wants to see how good my dogs are they can come to the field anytime. The girl above is now into her 2nd season under the gun and is performing like a star. My 2nd GSP pointed for the first time at 19months old last week and is now steady as a rock but still in the early excitable stages of his development. The dogs certainly learn slower than the Bitches

  • nice bitch im not in to trialling, but those which impress most that can most tricks whats the tune?

  • awesome. totally awesome. i was intro'd to GSP's by a co-worker and friend of mine. it's the most amazing thing ever to watch one of these dogs work, and aiming to please is what they do best. if they miss the bird, you can tell the dog is upset!!! i can't wait to get my own pup someday...gotta ask tho, what's the tune? keep up the great work.

  • AWESOME DOG!!! I wish my dog had half the skill than that one has... Also LOVE the liver spot on the rear leg/thigh..

  • German shorthaired pointers are HPR Hunt Point Retrieve. As part of a field trial for an HPR she is required to flush to command and is scored on the flush. Pointers which are one trick ponies do not flush to command. HPR and Pointers do not compete in the same field trials and their relevant clubs do not allow member dogs from either breeds. HPR's include GSP, vizlas, GWP etc. Flushing is key to her ability to work as Hunter Pointer Retriever.

  • pointers should not flush...teaching you pointer to whoa (not to move an inch) is key. If you want a flusher get a springer

  • @wbrandon12 You're a knob mate. GSP's work great in any style of real-world hunting. Mine points deer, points and retrieves quail, points and retrieves ducks, scent trails wounded game and will flush birds, rabbits and hares if I ask her to. Had a Springer once and while he was a great family pet he was dumb as bat-shit when it came to hunting.

  • Thanks nyc she is doing me proud

  • champion point ..... awesome
