  • @Tomerba25

    True, True...

  • i have the same guitar

  • theres alot better ways 2 do this solo

  • OMG!! you are the best :( i need tabs :(

  • could someone please tell me where i could find a tab of some sort for this or even the music itself? cheers, would be much appriciated

  • essential jaco pastorius music and tab book.

nice playin once it's past the first minute btw

  • stick to the slaping my brotha that one fill was sick:P

  • When you were just doing the Beatles thing I was a little iffy on it, but once you start playing it like Jaco it gets great.

  • dude u rule, nice job there, i love that song :P

    great job once again :D

  • new interpretation... interesting

  • exquisite

  • Good job capturing the wall of sound Jaco got from the triplets.

  • when you rake, mute the top two notes after you play them, to get the stucatto legato chord feeling. Other than that, nice job, very cool.

  • Pretty good! execpt the weird moment at 1:28? And I really loved that you slapped one jaco's licks! A slap solo after this lick would be very cool...with drums over it maybe?

It's just an idea like that. Keep the good work!

  • ah! i remember you! your the one who broke his string playing "Glide"! haha. this is really beautiful. your are a VERY versitile bassist!! great song, nice slap twist at the end. ;)

  • love it!!!

    you are a star!!

  • very nice, great job playing jaco, not easy stuff.

  • I've seen the Jaco version played before. Awesome job.

  • well not everyone can afford 50 grand worth of studio grade recording equipment so just deal with it punk.

  • obviously your gear is a lot better. i can tell by your videos.

  • Yea, DeRauser really has top notch gear. Calling this bassist baldy when if you look at any of his other videos you can obviously see he has more than enough hair on his head. Pricks these days.

  • You, roooock²"

  • muy lindo bajo , muy buen sonido pero.... te falta ANIMÀ

  • def doesnt compare to your other vids

  • another outstanding song alfredo! keep 'em coming!

  • Grande Alfredo!!!

  • too square - try the "Jaco Pastorius-version" of Blackbird - it's nice :D i promise you.

and the fast past... yeah, to be honestly, quit it.

  • this seems much simpler than a lot of the tabs ive seen. How long did it take you to get this?

  • didn't take long really. The first part was just a dumbed down beatles version, and the jaco version is pretty much like the original. The jaco version is easier than it sounds.

  • nice! i have one, but its a bit newer. awesome basses

  • thats a fender bass, no?

  • Yep '78 Fender Jazz

  • ooo sexy

  • anyway, skillz! nice job!

  • isnt this normally done on guitar?

  • Thats asome!! you did great!! good song choice!

  • cool. i like that.

  • it would sound a lot better if you played it legato.. the breaks between the chords are too jarring

  • a little bit, but remember, this is a bass, not a guitar :)

  • FUCK YEAH! nice crossover loved it!! 5/5

  • yeahh

  • Pretty Cool!

  • I never you can play it on bass... Nice vid btw

  • excellent work, man. nice cross-over from the beatles version to jaco's version. that's a cool slap-riff on that middle run. =) and a nice tone as well!

  • nice work man

  • nice work man

  • It's getting there, but you just need to work out making it more smooth when you change the chords.
