what phone do u have? it did the same to me on my ld dare but i found out on the lg dare you just plug it in buy i als clicked tools then usb mass storage that why it didnt find mine. so i just plugged it in without doing the mass storage bow it worked good.

it is a way to crap up your cell, but you probably werent careful and did something you werent supposed to. and dont do it with a krzr, cus it hasnt been tested yet (it should work wil all razrs)

yea it can if you are not careful. but if you follow guides precisely, you should have no problems. just in case, you should back up all the original files to your desktop, so if something happens, you can just open the original file =)

it doesnt work cus u are missing a file, and im not sure how to get it. try delteing bitpim altogether and downloading it from a different site. if it still doesnt work, try disabling any download security stuff from your computer if u have any.

all u gotta do is goto google and type in dll finder, then goto the first link then type the file name thats missing, it will be a zip. So just drag the dll into the bitpim folder

I don't think they have the drivers for mac, so I'll most likely go to my pc, but I need the drivers... oh, im not sure if i mentioned it, but macs dont need drivers. just download and plug in the phone

No it's not, it's the windows automatic try-to-install-every-possible-­driver-for-every-peice-of-hard­ware-found installer, which, when it can't find the software on the internet, asks you to insert a disk.
