  • Most people can't balance themselves to do them. I do these exclusively on leg days to failure, nothing works better.

  • I have plantars fascitis and I wear orthodotics I am suppose to wear them 24/7. will this be effective with tennis shoes on and if I can't raise my heel very high

  • A crucial and unmentioned part of this exercise is to exhale on the way down, and inhale when standing and bringing in your arms

  • Thank you! This is very helpful. I have the book, but have some difficulty with the diagram. Seeing it in full motion is a big help. Oddly, I can only do about 15 Hindu Squats right now, but I can do the wall sit for a full minute.

  • nope....only a good nutrition can do that

  • Fat burns equally across the whole body when working out. For example, doing sit-ups doesn't take fat off of the belly more than anywhere else. You may see a localized improvement from better muscle tone, however.

    Listen to yakamatsu on having GOOD NUTRITION (40%Carb, 30%Protein, and 30%Fat) first!

    Anyhow, this is one of the favorite excerise of Bruce Lee, and it is for the POWER TRAINING not for BULKY MUSCLE SIZE!

  • It's actually good for your knees and ankles. But you MUST do it correctly or you may injure yourself, breathing is an integral part of this exercise and must also be done correctly. This is a great exercise, so do it and have fun!
