In Canada, I a minority citizen, am being psycholgically, sexually, emotionally, financially, socially tortured and bullied for last 2 years, openly for the crime of using my civil right of not speaking with Toronto police. Based on their unsubstantiated self serving theories they put me under 24 hrs video surveillance, they openly go around instigating hatred, slandering my name at my employment and I am being tortured everywhere i go, including at work, openly with management involved.
dat was so so good i love how people was lookn around seeing wat was goin on i was doing da same thing wondering y people was seating nd a few clapping to a cd lol
Who sings this song originally.. ive been singing it at my church for like 10 yrs now lol.. and I have no idea do you know?? .. beautiful presntation young women....
Rev. Charles Tindley wrote the words in 1901, but had a different tune. Atron Twigg took Tindley's words and put them to an old Catholic tune several years later. Pete Seeger kind of made it famous, and the song got national attention when Joan Baez led 300,000 during Dr. King's march on Washington in 1963. Since then its been done by many many choirs and singers, but its like Amazing Grace - really no "original" performance.

Thank you...I'm not sure who sings the original you speak of but this version is by Bishop Paul S. Morton from the "One Church" CD
