no it's not a kit, I built it all by myself. However I did not upload the paper I wrote on it because it's still in German and I'm too lazy to translate it^^ (it's almost 40 pages in lenght hehe) But maybe I will do so in February when I'm back home and have some more time.

What you have done is my dream project, albeit, i will use it to send RF, IR and hopefully bluetooth, and use it as a remote control for my tv, set top box, ps3, Marantz SR6004 and all the lighting in the appartment.

That clicking/tapping noise at the beginning, is that the hard drive? Coz that seems quite loud!
On an another note, seriously nice project! I'm looking at builing my own portable mp3 player, any tips you might have will be useful!
