Yes,it may not be assisted but this the same design,the blade shape is also not the same. The Cat knife had a spear point and this has a clip point.But I would like to buy one of these knives,because I enjoyed carrying the "Cat" and this looks like a great EDC.
@shack456 Do you mind emphasizing? The closest thing that I found based on your description was the Mercator Solingen Cat Knife commonly referred to as "The Cat Knife". Is that what you were talking about?

I carried a Cat knife about 30 years ago.but there were many Korean knockoffs of various sizes that are VERY similiar to this new knife,sorry

I've seen another knife made by Decatur that is very similar,in fact this seems to be an exact copy. "The Cat Knife"
