  • El Al!!!

  • from 0:30 till 1:16 the plane was on the ground during takeoff that's pretty long

  • The sound of those Rolls Royce engines is unmistakable...love it!

  • nice to see that you are travelling in buisness class :)

  • Rolls Royce logo displayed prominently on those engines. Clearly, the preferred BA engine supplier.

  • james bond is on tht plane...

  • I've been flying twice a year for the past 15 years from LHR to LAX and I still say I rather watch this stuff sitting at home safe,I enjoy travelling but holy shit I hate flying.. And this is a goddam long flight and BA has freaking narrow seats and command out of this world prices compared to other airlines for larger seats upgrades...what the heck !!!

  • WING FLEX!!! O.o

  • At 1:28-1:30 is that the BA 777 that landed short of the runway?

  • I like the jumbojets of British Airways, are the more awesome and fastest of all jumbos with Rolls Royce RB-211 524 turbofans engines.

  • how much horsepower and pulling-force?

  • whas the plane heavy ?? it looks so?

  • Wow..nice rolling Takeoff

  • this flight must have been close to or at maximum takeoff weight because the rate of climb is lower and thrust wasnt decreased soon after takeoff to climb setting.

  • where were you flying too? your flight number sounds like james bond's agent number?

  • @speedbird6821 BA 007 is LHR to NRT

  • concorde spotted at 1:41 on the right is that another model

  • quite alot of planes ready for take off, great vi

  • 1:41 of the video theres a concorde spotted at the right

  • I seem to notice that the 744 with RR engines seems to take longer to climb than GE or PW engines...

  • Concorde @ 1:42 :D

    Thumbs up 4 Concorde !!!

  • That was a heavy loaded plane.

  • An excellent bit of flying. Keep it up guys....

  • Anyone notice the Concorde parked up in one far corner of the airport, beginning at 1:41... ? Certainly looks like Concorde to me.

  • @valarmanwe well spotted. i paused it and found it aswell. also i saw the 777 that crash landed at LHR

  • cool vid

see the crashed 777 at 1.30 with its fin removed

  • love how you can still see concordes on the ground

  • how did you keep the camera so still??

  • was the plane heavy on fuel and payload because its a slow rate of climb and small rotation angle? great vid keep em coming

  • Very exciting ! Keep the great videos coming. Question, how do you take video on a flight after 911? Don't the stewarts tell you to put it away?

  • @EnnCamp its not like your at the theater whare you watching a singing and dancing show but if it was then they said that your cheating, beside since your traveling, there shouldn't be any panalty for video your travel.

  • long takeoff roll

  • Digital cameras, many which also can record video, are allowed. They don't emit signals that can mess up the plane's systems.

  • rolls royce engines! awesome!

  • Nice rearward facing seat ! Better upstairs though!

  • @thes4uce you have to be bill gate or obama to sit upstares because it cost $10,000 to sit upstair per travel unless your a pilot, a captrain, or a owner of this plane.

  • @sideslide23 Errr, I was upstairs on this a few years ago. GBP 2300 round trip between London and Sydney.

  • @thes4uce its propably a great deal right now well injoy all you can because in 10 years from now it will be more than than.

  • love this vid shows good wing flex

  • nice take off from 09R

  • Love the El Al taxiing :)

  • @jetwhite same :P

  • That was a beautiful take off. Would have liked to hear the rest of the announcement though

  • love the way the wing bounces on a 747

  • looks like its gonna break off lol

  • airborne, runway heading :)

  • Nice video! Where were you flying to?

  • I like when a plane flies at low level parallel to a highway or street so I can guess how fast it moves by comparing to cars. Recently I was on a CRJ700 and just before landing in AMS we were flying over a highway and the plane was so slow in that it was traveling only a little faster that trucks, well below 200 kmh on short finals for a jet it's quite slow.

  • well i think they have to go sow when they about to land

  • a 737 about 135- 145 knots

  • Great!

  • Nice clean window makes all the difference. And don't the engines sound so different from the front. I found that droning noise so annoying even on a short flight. Love the way the engines and wing flex. Good capture!

  • very nice view of the wing, 5/5

  • Is it seat in economy or business?

  • EL AL fly 777's out of LHR? how strange.

  • just me or did those rr engines sound a bit different on takeoff??

  • engines do sound differnet,

    prat and whitney

    Rolls Royce

    General electric

  • i compared it to the qantas 747 take off (both equiped with RR engines) it sounded like the qantas had a higher take off thrust

  • No two takeoffs are the same....the amount of thrust used on takeoff depends heavily on how much the airplane's weight is at the time, not to mention the quality of the video and audio are all a matter of perception, there is no way to determine which has the higher thrust unless you look up the specifications. Both BA and Qantas should have the same maximum thrust per engine.

  • damn that be me in 4 weeks jetting off to jfk.

  • cool im going to london in sept on BA 12

  • very good camera.

  • Wow, very beautiful video. Great angle as well.

  • very low rotation angle, awesome

  • @DeathFish123 was probably fully loaded :)

  • @DeathFish123 Yes it was quite cool. I suspect having a full pax and lower thrust power plants have something to do with it.

  • Take off from runway 09R, BPK(Brookmans Park)5J departure. Beautiful take off and hum of those RB211-542G/H engines :P

  • wow really cool video. nice wingflex :p thnx for sharing :)

  • nice!

  • Man and machine. You gott'd love the RB211-524H's giving it some stick. Absolutely superb.

  • So if i record a take off would they let me?

or do you hide it and act like you aren't recording?

    because im going on emarites

  • yah im going on a ba flight 113 on frida to new york nd i really wanna record the take off =]

  • @TheFsManProductions y would they not allow you?

  • @TheFsManProductions i hide it :P

  • @TheFsManProductions they dont walk around during take off or landind

  • @TheFsManProductions every hosstess/steward is seated on take off...

u can do what u want

  • @Nitroboss2007 Except maybe dance the Funky Chicken!

  • @TheFsManProductions start recording after you hear "cabin crew seats for departure"

  • @TheFsManProductions they say that you are not aloud! yet every, tones of people film take-off and landings.

just be careful not to get caught! i don't know why they say that if you film the flight it messes with equipment!?

  • @DanTheCaptain

    Dear Dan,

I'm pilot and can tell u why, the landing and take off are two crucial moments of the flight. A electronic device has a magnetic field around it, every electronic device. Because an airplane is a pressurized cabin the magnetic electronic field can't go outside so it's stays like a bullet you fire on metal in the cabin. During the flight we can fix it very quickly but in the landing and landing it would be crucial.

    Regards

  • great video

  • Nice

  • awesome video ... thx ...love the hum of the RR engines ... that's a lot of plane to get airborne ... notice the roll time

  • Video never does the sound of the RB211 justice,i flew a Qantas 747-400 from Melbourne,an awesome sounding engine and the feeling of power.

  • Yes I have flown in 747's powered by the RR RB211 many times.

The noise is incredible if you are sat behind the engines. Great video but nothing like being sat in a 747 for real!

  • Were you at T+?

  • This is and remains the best take off video ive ever seen.

    cheers, thats professional.

  • Since when does EL AL operate the 777 to LHR? Great video BTW, best 744 engine type by far.

  • omg how freaky i was on the same flight going to Japan on that date ecet i was in fitst class. n my mum was working on the flight.

  • One of the best Take-off videos iv ever seen.

  • yes, i agree.I love RR sounds

  • Yep British Built Rolls Royce RB211-524 engines. Great Engines

  • what alwayz zcarz me about theze birdz iz they alwayz take yearz to take off! and yes my "S" button is broken zo i have to copy pazte ztuff in!

  • what he did is what Kwikfilms did on his flight: he held it against the plane window so it would stay still.

  • nice elal in the background and wich was your destination ??

  • Awesome view, xcellent capture mate!

Love the BA 747s, favourite type of plane of all! Would love to fly one myself one day. Thanks for sharing - straight to faves. One of the best T/O vids I've seen.

  • very nice
