  • listen to me. i am an american. this guy is an idiot. dont trust us to teach you about rugby.

  • @Samax13 Obviously we don't :)

  • slow twitch fibres for high intensity fast power. bollocks. hit the books again you idiot

  • Yeah he got those fast twitch and slow twitch around the wrong way. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt, just hope that next time he reviews the video before he puts it on Youtube.

  • isnt fast twitch and slow twitch the opposite you do LOTS of reps at a low weight and for fast you do BIG weights with Low reps dumbass

  • can anyone like post me a full rugby workout, im like 14 and really unaware of the appropriate rugby weights workout. pls, somebody?

  • if youre 14 then you dont really want to be doing too much but if you do, try keeping it with pressups, situps, and low weight squats. also running and cycling.

  • Well are u a back or forward?

  • forward, 8/ hooker

  • uh. um. uh. um.

  • Confusing them would be making an error and then catching it before you publish the video for 7000+ people to see it.

This is him not knowing the difference.

The Expert Village is missing its idiot

  • you have your muscle fibers mixed up buddy. Slow twitch corresponds with muscular endurance, and fast twitch deals with muscular strength and power. Maybe next time just read off cue cards, because you are difficult to listen to.

  • does anybody know a good exercise for props?

  • work the fuck out of your legs.

  • alright thanks ill to that =}

  • i think hed need to do more than work his legs, u need very powerfull shoulders saying as though youve got the weight of 15 big guys pushing against eachother all pressing on the shoulders of you and two of your team mates. massive upper body strength and core stability are definates, other than that just be an absolute animal when you get in that scrum :D

  • ok ill do them both eat lots of pies arms, legs and upper body to get to be a huge prop

    thanks for the tip

  • lots of pies :P

  • squats, did lodes in the holiday nd ive screwed over evry person ive propped against

  • thanks for the tip i appreciate it alot!!!

  • You're kidding right?

    Power and slow twitch?

    Nah..he must be kidding!

  • wtf would a yank know about rugby? nuff said

  • Very poorly done...doesn't understand his slow and fast twitch fibres for a start, why he's demonstrating a snatch is beyond me...good luck lifting big plates holding the bench bar like that mate. He has no idea.

  • this doesnt say anything about weight training

this guy is a total idiot

expertvillage is not very professional i got to say

they can't explain how to do anything

  • this guy knows a bit about the body but his technique is poor especially on the bench who grips the bar like that? and he aint even strong !

  • this guy is confusing fast and slow twitch muscle fibers! LOL

  • La agilidad no es importante para el rugby????

    Cachando nada el socio...

  • I thought the best 4 rugby is explosive exercies i heard that Pilates is good 4 rugby?

  • Thumbs behind the weight-bar togheter with the others fingers during bench press...no good...no good...

  • if you r not agile u get fukin bollocked

  • this guy is an idiot. Not only is he weak but he doesn't even have the brains to make up for is week braun

  • Its interesting that americans think they know whats needed to be a rugby player!

  • Don't be a fucking retard please.

  • Don't have to be as agile as other sports???

    The more agile the better!

E.g. Jason Robinson, Shane Williams, Christian Cullen... Just to name a few...

  • @gazza351 I'm pretty sure, all rugby players are highly agile, including the props :P

  • Good video, but you can't expect to cover all the aspects of a full rugby workout in 3 minutes. Its great for a start, but it would be even better if you made another video this time with some exercises about plyometrics, muscular endurance and explosive power.

    Thanks
