Take that credit card and cut it up.

CALL THEM and cancel the account.

Don't just stop using it because they are currently working on a new penalty charge for "NOT USING" your card.

They WILL get the message when 40 million people call them up and say NO.

They wont have a choice but to fix it.

When your money stops flowing into their pockets. They will hear you.

No violence. No weapons. No lawyers.

Just stop using the card and they WILL FOLD

We must protect CC companies freedom. It is 100% fair to increase the APR from 13% to 28% because you make 1 late payment (you didn't see it on the dark gray on gray micro print on the back of the agreement?)! I am sure the $35 fee is MORE than fair.

I honestly think they calculate the limit/apr so that a dumb person can afford to make payments, but not pay it off.

I say that if our government cannot make a way for everyone to turn a profit and pay taxes, then we will all have to settle for credit cards, interest rates and bank charges.

Maybe taxes should be more involved with a working class income than it does with paying somuch of our taxes at the gas pump.

Um, it seems to me that he accepted a lot more money from consumers who use credit cards than the companies that produce them. You all are being silly.

If you had any sense, you'd realize that he was arguing for the 95% of consumers who use credit cards responsibly, not the credit companies. My family relies on credit cards and we use them responsibly. Shame on you for picking on someone who is trying to defend you.
