The American economy cannot sustain a system based on Austrian economics (which Ron Paul advocates.) Furthermore, the problems in the world are caused by the concentration of power in the hands of a tiny number of people, not by some evil banking cabal hell-bent on world domination.
The American economy is based on massive state subsidies to corporations. If you implement Austrian economics, then there will soon be yet more massive state subsidies to corporations, because the people with power (CEOs etc) will still exert massive power over the government.
Markets are not moral - they are amoral, which is why you regulate them.
What we need is a more transparent government that doesn't overstep its boundaries and interfere with peoples' private lives. The government should be far more transparent and accountable, and it should regulate the markets properly in order to avoid exploitation of workers (especially Third World workers) etc. Austrian economics are not based on science and, if implemented, they would never work.

I believe that the National TV media is depending on the American "elder", those aged 70+ without computers, to vote for the lesser of two warmonger privateers. I'm pro-choice, but his idea is to let each state decides on their own. It's a personal choice, there should be a stand by the government for pro-choice or pro-life. For free trade, I think it's a good idea, but we need to sit back and stay focus on free trade issues and not engage in another war that Americans don't really care about.
