This brings back a lot of memories. Tales of the Symphonia was a pretty dark game to me, I remember being terrified seeing that old lady mutate into a monster, then having to kill her, then realize I've been killing people all along. It was pretty brutal and I had a hard time swallowing all this as a kid. I practically grew up with this game. Too much nostalgia...
i never got to hear the whole song. i destroyed the summon spirits too fast to hear the whole theme x3 thumbs up if anyone agrees with any of the following statements:
Origin = awesome!
Maxwell = funny old geezer
Celsius = uber fricken hot!
Corrine = ......we'll miss you lil' buddy.....
Verius = cheap, useless, knock-off of the much awesomer (yes, its a word because i say so! >.<) Corrine!
Long seen as the Best Tales Game available for quite a while ever since it's release on the Gamecube.
I imagine anything that can be said about the game has already been said or thought up by anyone who knows the game or has been involved in the gaming community.
This song comes from Tales of Phantasia, but it makes sense you use the more recent recording, since the original hasn't aged spectacularly. Still, Sakuraba's running out excuses for sticking with the damned MIDI guitar.
You should check out Go Shiina's work on Legendia. Full orchestra on just about every track.
Nope this isn't the final boss battle song. But it is rather awesome. And about it coming out for the PSP, i'm not sure. I know there's a "Tales of Symphonia" game for Xbox 360, but it's not a remake.
Uhm, well, Tales of Symphonia never got out wether on PSP nor on X360... In Japan, there was the regular GameCube Version and an extended PS2 Version, because no one bought the GC Version.
In USA and Europe, there only is the GC Version, but it's still one of the greatest games I ever played!^^
This battle theme comes up whenever you fight a Summon Spirit to prove him your strengh... You can treat them as bosses, though.^^
I know there's a Tale of Vesperia for the 360. I got my system's messed up. I meant "Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World" for the Wii. I could have sworn it was for the 360 as well. My mistake.

Ah, no, it's not called Tales of Symphonia", but "Tales of Vesperia", if we talk 'bout the same game!^^

I know this comment is rather late in coming, but the 360's game is Tales of Vesperia. ToS2 is on the Wii.
