This isnt how you play yesterday at all, you have to tune it down a whole step, and the intro chord will be played as a (G) by picking the 6 string for the bass, and the bottom two strings for the melody
I suggest not strumming the open strings between all of the chords. It kind of detracts from the tonality. This is a common habit for initiates, which kind of works if you are playing a song in a key that includes the G chord, but otherwise does not sound that good. Otherwise a great sound and nice playing.
@dreamarkys what you on about sounds great ...and strumming the open chords inbetween the chord change is very common and you find it in most off the BIG songs!!!

I appreciate that when the open strum complements the song. That open G between all of the other chords seems dischordant.
