I am a Law and Order(Criminal Intent) Fan. I like the chest game between Goren and Wallace. Goren is on the law's side and Nicole is on the bad side. But they both have been afflicted growing up. I was under the impression that Goren was somewhat impressed with her level of intelligence and enjoyed the duel of smarts in a way. Love the chest game they play. Its the best series in IMO.

Nicole Wallace...arguably the finest villain of "Criminal Intent." I wish she hadn't been killed off in Season 8 (I've only watched up to Season 4, so PLEASE DON'T tell me how she dies; i want to be surprised, but i'd like to know why the writers decided to kill her off). Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe will return for the final season of "Law And Order: Criminal Intent" beginning this April.

@GFMx1 I actually read somewhere that Nicole was the Mortiarty to Goren's Holmes. And i think that there should've been a better ending to Bobby and Nicole's cat and mouse games. I wish that there was some way they coould;ve brought her back in the last episode. maybe some sort of Guarentee of an 11th season with Goren finding a letter from nicole.

They both had each other's number from day one. She knew he was just a few bad days shy of being just as messed up as she. Bob-bee. One of the best duos in TV history. Whenever Nicole was on an ep, it was like watching a housefire. (BTW, Olivia never gets the credit she deserves for these high-stakes tennis matches with Vincent.)

I believe that was from the episode of the prof hanging himself in the bathroom, from season 1. You know, where Goren accused him of being a worthless father for not paying child support. Goren felt alot of angst about the suicide. I hope this helps :).
